I was staying in a trailer while I was working on building a home on the property. One night I thought people were messing with my equipment. I armed myself and ran out of the trailer. I have found a co-relation between the matted locks and conifer habitats. PIne tar is a difficult thing to clean without a solvent, and in hot weather it would be almost impossible to avoid if you're existence was wild, sleeping on the ground and moving through these types of forests.

I think your pinetar theory is funny. Could it be becsuse they just never wash and spend a lot of their time in the mud (which keeps bugs away)? Isnt that the obvious reason for the matted hair? I think your theory is just that. Fancy theory and not plain reality

But never knew that it contained sasquatch. I have lived in northern Alabama for almost 2 years. We live in a podunk town and surrounded by country. It’s crazy because I heard something a few years ago that sounded just like what this guy describes. I live in the upper Midwest kind of above the river bottoms where two major rivers meet. The area immediately around me is sparsely populated and almost has a rural feel, but I’m in close proximity to very urban areas within a mile or 2 every direction. There is a cemetery next door(in-ground headstones, lots of trees/rolling hills and woods nearby; feels more like a park) that butts up to the river bottoms bluffs at the lowest point. Lots of wildlife. Anyways, so I was walking my dog one night between probably 10 and midnight in the cemetery(I know, I know lol). When we got to the back near the bottom out of nowhere I heard the loudest, scariest sound I’ve ever heard. It was a quick burst that sounded like a cross between a roar and a bark. I like to describe it like a mix of a freight train horn and a 500 lb Rottweiler. The nearest woods we’re about 80 yards in front of me and the river bottoms about 200 yds to my left, but for some reason this “thing” sounded like it barked RIGHT IN MY EAR, and like this guy said, it almost sounded paranormal like a mix of tones and the way it reverberated through my body was unreal. It made every single hair on my body stand up and all of my senses go into high gear like I have NEVER felt before, and I’ve been in a lot of scary situations. First thing I did was look at my dog to see if she noticed anything or if I was just going crazy. Sure enough she was on high alert staring towards the woods. That feeling is so hard to describe, but we turned around and high-tailed it out of there back to the house about half a mile away. I was looking over my shoulder with my flashlight every two seconds. I’ll also add that I’m a big outdoorsman and spend a lot of time in the woods and on the water, and I’m pretty knowledgeable on wildlife/biology. Thanks for reading. Anybody else ever experience something similar?

This was one of the most extraordinary accounts I've ever heard, and I sincerely think this man was telling the truth as he remembered it. The kind of detail he supplied was quite compelling, and the way he described the dead deer's totally stripped skeleton immediately reminded me of a strange occurrence Les Stroud ("Survivorman") had in British Columbia, I believe. When he was searching for the beast there, he noticed the strangest sight he'd ever seen in his entire 30-years as a professional woodsman. Next to a river bank, he noticed the bones of a dead mammal laying in a perfectly straight line, with it's bones picked perfectly clean, gleaming pure white in the sunlight. He said that there was absolutely no flesh attached to the bones at all, and that it looked as though it was purposely placed there. Then he noticed the head of the animal was pointing directly toward HUGE depression in the ground right next to it, which he thought may be the bed of a sleeping elk or bear, only much, much larger. The sight was so bizarre that he dedicated an entire video to it. I believe very strongly that this encounter and Stroud's may be somehow connected. The similarities are simply too close to ignore.

It probably thought the boys were going to take its food so wanted to scare them away. As for not finding a dead one, but you don’t find dead bears either, when I was on the island of Gibraltar, which is tiny, and the only place in Europe where primates are found (well, other than people or in zoos) these Barbary apes are pretty common indeed of late their population has been increasing, but locals told me it’s weird how despite the numbers you never find a dead one. And it’s a tiny place, relatively speaking. As to how they are there, there are two theories, one, they were introduced by the Moors at some time when they occupied Spain, or that they’re the last remnant of a native European population. During the Pleistocene this species lived as far north as Britain and Germany but the ice age relegated them to Spain where they finally died out 30,000 years ago, but maybe some survived in isolation on the island. The first theory is generally accepted although Muslim writers record the apes seem to have been their from time immemorial and experts don’t discount the second possibility. If it is the case, it proves a relic primate population can hold out in isolation from the Pleistocene. As for local legend it claims they crossed the straight of Gibraltar via underground caves from North Africa, that’s just the local tale though.

Some things will mark you for life. I remember over 30 years ago when I was around 7 years old I was in the vehicle with my dad and we saw all of our neighbors coming out of their houses and looking straight up to the sky.. my dad was curious and he stopped the vehicle right in the middle of the road, he got out of the vehicle and he too was staring at the sky in silence. At that point I too got curious and got out of the vehicle, This was in plain daylight with no clouds.. We saw a huge bright light flying through the mountains doing maneuvers I have never seeing before.. the light would disappear and reappear a couple miles down and back, the light was teleporting. I served in the NAVY when I was in my 20’s with high tech airplanes and helicopters and we do not possess this kind of technology. No helicopter or airplane can do what I saw in the sky that day.. and I remember the experience like it was yesterday.

In my experience, the only strong smell you get from dead deer is if you accidentally puncture certain organs while cleaning them. On certain deer you’ll get a bad smell while cleaning the abdominal cavity without making that mistake, but it’s pretty rare. If Bigfoot was just enjoying some fine back strap then the smell definitely wasn’t the deer 😂

Hello Mr. Stroud, I’m sending this message to you to give you something to think about. Putting human in the suit have them walk in a wooded area and then turn his shoulders and head and look back but keep walking forward you’re not gonna do it if you’re a human. In the George Patterson film that’s exactly what this animal does big foot whatever you wanna call it it is a female is the real deal there right here in my territory all the time running around but people just don’t pay any attention to them oh righty then you have a good one take into consideration what I’ve said the human suit is not going to walk forward and look back they will stop turn look back and then proceed on thank you very much

I could show Les where Bigfoot lives in Oklahoma. Yes Sir. They live in the very exact same areas where we find Turkey, Deer, Coyotes, Bobcats, Mountain Lion....yes there are still some Lions in Oklahoma too. It's on the very same land my ancestors hunted, an lived on. See Copan, Oklahoma search Copan lake, search lake Hula too please. So Today good yes Sir. So are we.

I can't see these people existing anymore but not to say they never did. People hunted those little pygmy people for sport up until the 1900s I believe. They are now basically all gone. Xfiles had a jersey devil episode that was pretty good. Named a hockey team after the sasquatch or whatever too.

You didn't see a monster, you saw a living being, that looks different from human, that does not make it a monster! You need to stop calling these beings, monster a nd evil! We are encroaching in their habitat, and the planet doesn't belong to only us! You need to be more open minded. These beings are born here, so they have the Right to be here, and they need to be left alone.

Oh my gosh Just another animal? Then it would be the only one that we can't record them in their natural habitat feeding and mating. Do they mate for life or a mating season? How old do they get? Strange how this is the only "animal" that walks on land and yet no answers. Don't forget a government cover up Thanks for this interview

Poachers routinely only harvest the rear section of an animal then leave it. If it's not immediately found by large scavengers, can be eaten away and to the bone by smaller scavengers and larvae, leaving the rest seemingly untouched. Seen it a few times. That doesn't explain the dome structure though.
