A short bus would be so cool. Lots of room to store all your hobbies & extra food. I almost bought a 17 window bus that needed tires. Then I priced the tires & had to say no. Wow I really wanted that bus. The bus itself was affordable & seats already gutted. The thing is that an oil change, tires, & gas was ridiculous. Let alone if it needed repairs later on. U bet the shirt bus would be less expensive to keep & less wheels. I hope it works out good for you.

I encourage you to think through the school bus very carefully. If you don’t like backing up a minivan, backing up a school bus will be much harder unless you practice a lot until it’s a no brainer. Also, the gasoline to run it will be WAY more than you’re used to. You told us you only receive $700 a month, so traveling will take a huge bite outta that. Not to mention tires and repairs will be more costly when needed. Because of my personal aversion to needless killing of wildlife (you have no means of carrying fresh or frozen meat with you at this time), I’m thrilled that you didn’t find any deer to kill today! 😜

Here in Ohio you can take any returns to Kohl's Store. They print the label and everything. Try it if you have a Kohl's store nearby.

Oh and if it would be too hot In the summer and too cold in the winter for you? 😢 For living in.

That area does look ghostly. Looks like World War II battleground. My sister and her husband lived in a haunted house in Fairfax Station, Virginia. It was over a battleground as well. All kinds of things used to happen in that house. I used to go there spooky as heck.

I used to drive a school bus. I don’t think it’s practical for you Vivian. They are built for road safety not comfort. Freezing in winter and like an oven in summer. The back door opens from the outside so it would need a lot of adjusting before you can live in it and quite honestly it’s not cost effective, especially w fuel, and if it’s diesel , they are noisy and dirty. It may inconvenience you w height restrictions too. It truly is a working van/bus. Anyway enjoy your night! Jackie from Dublin Ireland 🇮🇪

My niece ordered a car from Carvana and everything went fine. Couple of weeks later she was looking at prices for a car for her son who doesn't even have his permit yet and won't be 16 until the end of next year. In trying to get out of the app she apparently hit the wrong key. She totally freaked out when she got the confirmation email the next day about a car coming her way.

Hello vivian! Great video! Yes, a school bus would have more room in it, however my friend has one, and the two biggest issues with that are the tires are very expensive for it, and also the windows are a problem with both heat, and in cooler weather, also , you would need a wood stove in it to keep warm in winter because of all the metal that bases are made with. A skoolie would be expensive to live in. I just thought I would share that information with you. Have a great day.

I often forget to lock the file cabinets and when I’m done driving all the drawers have to pushed in and locked before I get to the back of the van. Gas expense would be high on the school bus.

Just say no, Vivian. Gas and regular maintenance for that guzzler would kill your budget.
