Hi Satch, I love your videos but I also love Vampires and there are a few other things you left out of your review. 1: There's a Vampire Lore skill, it had 15 levels and eventually you can make a drink to cure Vamprism. 2: Vampires can and will break into your house to feed on your Sims if you leave your door unlocked at night. 3: There's a drink you can make for your Vampires that allows to regain energy in the sun so your Vampire can be a daywalker. I'm sure there are a few others things I might be forgetting but I think that's most of it. Keep up the good work and make more awesome videos for us. :)

With the Spa Day refresh, there is a mask that allows vampires to gain energy from the sun. You know, some of that cross pack compatibility I'm always wanting.

I played both Sims 3 and Sims 4. I enjoy both, but Sims 3 is better for me, although Sims 4 has some things that the Sims 3 does not.

Yeah being family friendly really ruins ts4. There is a modder called Zer0 who made great mods for all occults and his vampire ones are especially nasty, not only did he make a vampires can kill mod but also more elaborate dark vampire overhauls where they can for example keep 'cattle' (essentially human slave sims to feed on). I don't know if he has updated all his mods for the newest game version but I used to play a lot with his stuff to make evil occults actually evil ^^'

@@Nirax3I wanted to have one sim (in a family of 2, which eventually became 4 when they both got married) be kind of evil behind the scenes without the other sims knowing, but there was no way to really do that as an action in the game, so when I wanted to pick an NPC I didn’t like to keep as a sort of “cattle,” I made an entire basement with multiple rooms that would facilitate all the human needs just to achieve it. So much work for a kind of simple concept 🥲 And even being evil got bland… I got bored of just keeping those sims like that, so I got rid of all the stuff for one and just let them die because it felt like a sim’s cruelty was so limited… And also not even technically their own. A sim doesn’t actively build anything, I do. Which sucks. I really wanted to be able to have vampires with different ways of living-I wanted one to do things the nice way, always asking to drink, never trying to be mean, and I wanted the other to be like secretly evil towards certain people, but… The extent to which you can pursue character depth in that way is very very small in the sims ;-; What I’m saying is, I HAVE to check out that guy’s work, because I need more flavor in my game!

@@sakurasensations4786 I do the same thing! It's a bit of a struggle because when you leave the lot they despawn, but oh well, you just call them or cheat them back in.

Having vampires come to you door, break in and wreak havoc with your (ordinary) sims orderly life cycle is one of the best bits about the pack to me. It is one of the few random events that affect your sims negatively, a tad of chaos in an otherwise very bland and orderly game.

the vampires keep coming to my house but they never come inside even when the door is unlocked JUOAJD ILF it gets on my nerves like i want something different to happen to my sims for once but they just go home after a few minutes of standing outside omfg

@@areeba7045 I think the vampire break in was nerfed a few patches ago, because some players felt uncomfortable about it. There are mods that will reinstate the attacks. They are not particularly common though, but researching vampires will bring up the likelihood.

@@p.bckman2997 I wont lie, I refused to buy it because it couldn't be turned off. If it can be now then I may consider it. I respect that some simmers want more "random and crazy" and I do to...but not for EVERY sim file...some I just want to be "normal" lol

@@queenstixxzz , unless you use a mod to specifically allow vampire break-ins, it won't happen now. Heck, even _with_ the mod I have a hard time provoking a brake-in, despite doing all the typical preparations to make it happen. I think you can safely buy the pack now if you want the BB and CAS.

I also hope they carry this detail over in Sims 5. Life states definitely need more love.

i like them there bc its convenient for me to drink plasma. im not willing to go to other worlds/places bc of the loading screens 😭

This comment is 2 months old, but I'll take a shot: there is a mod that keeps sims in their designated world. You might occasionally see random sims walking around, especially if you have story progression on and they get random kids or move in, but it solves the problem quite well. I don't think it prevents vampires from turning at your door, though.

Yes, but if you want to have all the powers, it really takes a long time, because once you are a grand master you earn points slower. So it doesn't really stop once you reached the top :)

Well its a game pack world , what did you expect? A world the size of my wedding Stories? At least this game pack has good gameplay and its not a glitchy mess like my wedding stories was....Honestly IT was the most glitch that i've ever seen out of this sims game.

My guess is you prefer the Vampire World is the Sims 3, which has all of those. I liked it too, but I do not mind this one which is more reserved, like the stereotypical vampire.

@@Ascend777 No, but that's because I don't like the Occult in any Sims game. I play for more realism, typically. But the Sims 3 world is better, simply because it does offer things to do in it. Obviously, it's open world, so more massive lol But the least EA could have done was already do what they have for the Werewolf world recently. I don't know why they held back the tech they've always had for so long, when people who do like the Occult could have had much more things to actually play with back then

​@@nyxnightmare3542 Maybe it was too much work for them. Building a Sim game from scratch wasn't the best move on EA's part. It would had been better if they upscale Sims 3 by adding more sliders, options, and whatever. I personally think the Sims 3 was upscaled from the Sims 2, and the Sims 4 was built from scratch. Or, at least it felt that way.

I don’t mind the size of the world but I wish it had more details like non vampire characters (eg Bob pancakes) acted scared for example
