Forget the Bivol rematch. The fight I want to see next is Canelo vs Benavidez and I want to see it go down in Mexico!

It’s crazy how people seem to dismiss Canelo. Benavidez is a good fighter but there’s levels to the game. Also that Bivol loss was a huge jump by Canelo. Everybody acting as if Bivol is not a top fighter.

This fight is going to deliver in every way, both are ferocious and unbelievably talented 👏

There’s a lot of hate for canelo. He’s faught all the champions in each weight division he’s competed in. He continually fights bigger competition and challenges himself. Ryder was no 1 contender who just beat Danny jacobs, jacobs is a great boxer too. A lot of these people hating need to do their research on the opponent. No one outside of boxing knew bivols name till he fought canelo, now he’s a superstar. Canelo went up to fight him (a champion) at 175, canelo started his career at like 150. You can say you don’t like him, but ignoring his body of work and saying he’s fighting nobody’s when he’s fighting no1 contenders and champions is just close minded. A bum opponent would be either low ranked or u ranked, Canelos ‘tune up’ fight was against the no1 contender.

Canelo has been active for so long it’s only natural that he’d start to slow down. However, Canelo at 90% is still tough as nails and has the experience to beat a lot of people (especially at 168). To have a chance of winning you’ll need to give 110% and be able to maintain it for the entire match. Either way, I want Canelo vs Benavidez more than just about any other fight right now!

I understand why Canelo wants his rematch with Bivol...but judging by his last perforamnces after the Bivol fight, Golovkin and Ryder, I don't see why the result would be any different...Canelo has the exact same style, single powerful punches, that Bivol is going to catch and shoot just like in the first fight. I think the Benavidez fight is more competitive and interesting...I think this version of Canelo, which is not the best, still beats Benavidez

You dont know you want the fight to happen until Motivemedia made a video about. At least that's how i find out about the most exciting fights to anticipate.

If he doesn’t get the Bivol fight then I hope we get this fight! Canelo has no where to turn but I’m more than certain he stops Benavidez with a body shot 9th RD.

Key factors in a fight between Canelo & Benavidez. (1) At 168LBS Canelo will not be a push over . Just because he lost to BIVOL at 175LBS that does not mean he will fight Benavidez the same way at 168lbs. (2) Will Benavidez boxing style of moving forward work against Canelo? We saw that a strong GGG couldn't do it and it back fired (3) Can Benavidez handle a Canelo power punch? Canelo broke Ryders nose and has damages a lot of boxers faces. If Benavidez chin cannot take Canelo's power he will be in trouble throughout the fight. (4) If Benavidez decides to change his boxing style during the fight and not be the aggressor will he be able to with stand and run away from Canelo? (5) Will Canelo be more aggressive and throw more punches? Canelo is not a high output puncher he is accurate and takes him time directing his opponents. The only way to find out is to have the fight.

I praise Ryder for taking a beating and possible brain damage since he was obliterated even if canelo didnt get the KO or TKO Ryders face and knock downs show otherwise. That fall was definitely a Knock Down that they gifted to Ryder as a slip.

I'm a huge Canelo fan, but I'm not gonna lie... Benavidez is a big threat. I would love to see that fight. I like Benavidez too. I'm not saying he 100% beats Canelo but I think at the minimum, he gives him problems. Might even beat him.. who knows. It's truly a 50/50 fight.

Canelo has fought alot of boxers since i don't know. His being on war for a long time . Always putting his body and mind to the test. While alot of known boxers can't even make one fight. While the rest of them are docking each other.. they fight once a year or once 3 years . Who has fought GGG 3 times? Who call out Kovaliv ? Who call out demitri Bivol? Who has knocked out Canelo? Not even a much bigger boxer has. Canelo is one of the greatest. Most of boxers now and days retire at 30 Fights. Canelo still going... I hope i get to see mor Canelo more many years to come.
