People like to compare Brady with Montana, but it's not a fair comparison. Brady has benefitted from the new rules that protect QBs & WRs. If Montana played with those rules he would've been able to play longer & won more rings. The same thing with Brady, if he played with the rules of the 80s & 90s he wouldn't have been able to play as long or win as many. I think the only thing we can say is the Brady is the best of this era & Montana was the best of his. We can't forget about Terry Bradshaw who won 4 SBs in the 70s when the game was even more violent. That's what makes it so hard to chose between Bradshaw and Montana, but having watched them all play I think Montana was the best QB out of the bunch but the hits he took cut his career short. I do give Brady mad props for his workout & conditioning regimen though. The only players that I know of with similar work ethics were Rodger Craig, Jerry Rice, & Walter Payton, but again, they played in the era of helmet-to-helmet tackles and tackles led by the helmet.

Gronk was a beast of a tight end but he's a top 10 dork in his commercials & so far I'm not impressed with his work on the FOX pre & post game show. Maybe he'll get better but if he doesn't his contract will be torn up.
