On Friday night's Member Episode, we heard from Rick who had a recent encounter in Michigan. Rick returns to speak about his father's encounters.
I also spoke to Scott who is the father and he shared what happen to him growing up on a farm in a rural area. He saw the creature a few times and many strange things happened on the property.

@@maskandvaccinefreeandproud2110 Well, I obviously don’t know you or your circumstances and you probably have a lot more life experience than I do, but if you are truly on your own now, who’s to say you can’t find somebody to lean on in the future? There’s a lot to be said for self reliance so at least you know you have that. One could argue that it provides a higher degree of freedom, which is a fundamentally great thing. If nothing else though, dog is mans best friend and at least we do have Sasquatch Chronicles. Anyways, wish you all the best in the times ahead.

@@Charles-tj8ol I realize you mean well. And I appreciate you reaching out, at all. Trust me when I say I’ve earned this hate honestly and without provocation and it’s not going anywhere once I crawl out of the hole that others forced me into in the first damn place. You don’t lose every single thing you have at the hands of others and come away unaffected by it emotionally. That’s what you get when you naively put your faith and/or trust in ANYONE! Hell, I might even reconsider my attitude if I thought for one second that most people could simply live up to their OWN expectations of others at this point let alone MINE. Lol! It’s been proven far too many times that most people can NOT! Or just don’t! I couldn’t care less which quite frankly. Weak, cowardly, lying, phoney’s that they are. The results are always the same. But thank you anyhow. Cheers.

@@maskandvaccinefreeandproud2110 I hear you man, people can be incredibly disappointing (to put it very politely lol). I’m very blessed to have reliable family. Most of my friends have disappointed me at one time or another, for various reasons. I’ve also disappointed myself and others on several occasions however. I guess it’s all part of the tragedy of being human, the flawed creatures that we are. All we can do is push through I suppose and I’m sure you are well acquainted with doing exactly that. In the end we are all just kind of stumbling through life making mistakes and trying to learn from them I guess. Makes sense why forgiveness is such a primary theme in Christianity since everyone is so prone to screwing up all the time haha. Sometimes you gotta just laugh at how messed up the whole thing is. Laugh to keep from crying as they say. Anyways, there’s a lot of awful people out there and I’m sorry if you’ve experienced more than your fair share of that. I think there’s a lot of really good people as well though (perhaps the minority). The challenge is finding them and making sure that, in the end, we belong in that category as well. The fact that you have expectations of yourself and others leads me to believe that you are among the good ones. For whatever that’s worth..

Michigan here... I'm not sure if I had a BF experience, but my wife and I decided to make northern Michigan our main home. We found a great spot in Harbor Springs area called Birchwood Farms. We decided to remodel a home there (BTW most of the homes are in the woods), and once a week I would go up and check on the progress. One night, I had the fire pit going (grilling a steak), and it started to get dark out. Remember there are no street lights just a lamp post, so It gets really dark here. Anyway, I was enjoying a glass of wine and a cigar on a beautiful evening. Then I got this feeling that I was being watched. But I ignored it and kept enjoying the evening. Then..... something inside me saying; get inside NOW! Didn't see anything or heard anything. Just put out the fire and called it a night. It had to be something predatory. Deers, foxes, and raccoons may hang around, but not an intense stare like what I felt. I felt it staring at me. Maybe a coyote or a cougar. or..........

@James Knudsen thanks for telling your story. You are a champ for not letting these encounters inhibit your outdoor lifestyle as a youngster. I imagine most kids would be scared to ever set foot back in the woods, especially nighttime hide and seek games! I also think it’s really cool how much stock your dad put in your claims. It is important for fathers to take their kids seriously. I’m curious why you didn’t want to elaborate on the details of the “private parts” you observed in the first encounter. Was there something disturbing about that or was it just not worth discussing? I’m guessing it was a male?
@jamesknudsen7852
@jamesknudsen7852 3 роки тому
@Charles,, Thx I appreciate that! I'd have to start by saying this.. I've never let it hinder me or my family,from the great outdoors! I've always felt that no matter what, It(sas/bf) never made any attempt to harm me.. maybe it's a bit foolish of me to think they couldn't lol (Tho I know they could if they chose) ..I'm a bit fearless in my own way,i Suppose? Tho I much respect bears And cougars,or the likings..sas/bf, Definitely keeps me alert, and is on my mind, whenever I'm in the woods Or wilderness, period.. As far as the anatomy,yes it was definitely a male!! Due to the nature of conversation and in conjunction with,kids May be listening to sasquatch chronicles..I didn't want to go into any details on that..I thought it best to bypass the subject a bit,I guess..out of respect..my dad, Was definitely a backer and well on Board with bf/sas..my dad grew up In the u.p. of michigan,in the 40s/50s,and spoke of a few of his encounters as a kid..plus he and my mother had some things happen,as I mentioned in EPISODE 712.. While hunting near my GPA pigpen, Or general area.. Tho for many reasons,I've never given the exact location,I'm totally ok with showing anyone!! All they have to do is, contact me.. I'll arrange that,np..tho the layout,of the area has changed some since the 70s..not a doubt I could take anyone to the locations within a few feet.. ,, Scott

Possible reasons for the cover-up: Every missing person case that's occurred in an area of a confirmed sighting will have to be re-opened which will require thousands of man hours. The Billion dollar Outdoor industry will be under threat. How many families will still choose the great outdoors for their vacations after this is confirmed? The Logging industry would be under threat as would the Building industry because habitats would need to be protected. These creatures are probably so closely related to humans that they'll have to be given human rights too. The short answer for a cover up is Money and Corruption. The Media aid the cover up by treating the subject as a joke yet you have to wonder how long this can continue in the CCTV age of dash cams and camera phones....confirmation is simply a matter of time now

A little far fetched. Confirmation/disclosure would lead to a boom in "outdoors industry". Grizzlies are very real, and people still leave their houses with their families. The human rights aspect would never be on the table.

Ok if u live in Michigan benzie county is south west of traverse city. Lower herring lake is almost on the beach of lake Michigan. Upper herring lake is to the east of lower herring lake the road M22 splits the lakes. The creek is at the northern part of lower herring lake and runs north then south east down to upper herring lake. There is a nature preserve on the south side between the two lakes. Currently about 7-8 homes in the area of the creek where you would be able to walk to the creek without crossing herring rd. The west side of M22 is populated now. I wonder if any of the people in that area have had any encounters?

Or maybe we hadn’t experience that fear ? Is that why we turn to extreme sports ? I drove about 20 min from my Aunts house in Scottville (Ludington) into the Manistee Natl. Forest. Even being in my car, driving down a well worn two-track, something about being in that forest at or near dusk is downright creepy. Keep in mind, I’m not too far from Wexford, MI, home of the original “Michigan Dogman” story.

This was a good one and while I don't particularly like it much. I understand where he is coming from. I understand both aspects of it. One side doesn't want them touched out of fear for exploitation and possibly extinction and the other just wants to drag one in and put the subject to rest as far as science and the gov acknowledging them..that beingsaid, I do find it particularly reckless that they pretend as if they dont exist and make us sound nuts because yeah, it can be putting someone in danger possibly. It would be the same thing with any other creature like bears for example. So I do understand both sides. Awesome episode. Thanks.

I was just thinking that while there are stories regarding red haired giants that are more human looking than Sasquatch-that maybe depending on which skeletal remains are buried where and the proportions, some of the giantt skeletons are actually Sasquatch. Just an idea
@drewfinn2
@drewfinn2 3 роки тому
while I dont necessarily like the idea of killing a Sasquatch, but to prove their existence in the science community seems like an ok trade off. Also if you consider how many people go missing from the National Parks per year (800k), taking one out to difinitely prove to science of their existence is a small price to pay. Assuming that most of these disappearances are in fact Sasquatch related and not all UFO’s Aliens or Dogman... 800k is a lot of people...
@philrobertson647
@philrobertson647 2 роки тому
I find these accounts fascinating. I don't believe these people are lying. It's such a mystery such as why do they never find the remains or skeletal evidence? How can these 'creatures' be shot with no devastating effect and how do they appear to vanish into the underbrush even when pursued by many trained hunters. I think they may be somehow interdimentional. Also check doc's like Missing411 and events at Skinwalker Ranch

Don’t kill BF. They have a hard enough time eating each other. In Michigan the cougar and jaguars are good at taking out little ones. Hunters cams are recording jags from Michigan, Ohio Kentucky Tennessee West Virginia. It’s been here for several decades that we know of. Jags are very aggressive. Then there is the dogman. Terror above all predators. Now don’t stay out of the woods they’ve been here for centuries. Just be alert keep your mouth quiet so you can listen. If your in thicket you’ve got company. Midday they like to napped and sunbathe.🤣🤓

Denisovans and other early forms of early man in east asia were genetically compatible with giganto. The resulting offspring,early man crossed the land bridge as well as giganto hybrids,which were Early version of sasquatch. Early man eventually became natives. The giganto/Neanderthal/denisovan hybrids lived in the deep forests but would kidnap and impregnate native women,and the resulting offspring of that is now the sasquatch we know of today. Sasquatch are a hybrid of early man,giganto and current man...with of course some evolutionary components added.

There is all kinds of podcasts if you download podbean or whatever you can search the topic, and get some older ones. I actually remember the first time wes germer was on a show, he called into a show called sasquatch watch radio, host billy Willard from VA where i live, and he told his encounter story for the first time. Few months later he started his own (this one) with his brother, i think it was on a show called open call ins, and it was around 2013 i think. I talked to wes on the phone long ago and told him i heard him live, and he knew i been around the subject awhile. So that will give you something to do until you get money.

Wes said it best to take the head because you could never carryout the whole thing. It is not cool to want to kill one, but to a person that has seen one the fear that they bring on can drive you insane. One of them could take over 100 humans in one night, if they had reason or intention. The ones around Texas I believe have been shot at more than enough for one of them to start war on us. Leaving them to live in peace and them staying hid is about to stop soon as some one brings in a head.
