As a school bus driver I have always thought about how I would convert a bus if I could afford one and I have ALWAYSSSSS thought I would hook up lights to where the stop sign and overhead ambers and reds are because the wiring is already there. I’ve never seen anyone actually do it though. I love that you did it!!!! Finally someone that thinks things through!!

I've got a '97 International 3800 with the dt455e engine and Bluebird body that is partially finished. right now its storing everything from when I moved back home to handle mom's estate while she's in a nursing home. SO after seeing yours I just might incorporate some of what you did!

I love that you left the wheel chair lift intact!!! That is something I’ve wanted to do, too. It makes a nice little deck off the side and it helps lift the heavy stuff into the bus. I appreciate your mind and the way you did things!!!

Looks great man, I love the commentary and that back door handle with the vintage clippers as a door handle, awesome idea! LED everything musta been expensive. I know you said you were gonna match the teal seats to the driver and passanger seats but I actually like the color of the teal seats with the grey vinyl flooring. They go well together. Keep us updated bro!

Why not paint the wood on the stairs with the same truck bed liner you used on the outside? That would be more durable, have traction, and look cool, too!
