If people admired scientists like how they admire artists, more and more people will have the desire to be a part in the search and development of knowledge.. and that's what matters.

So every 10 years on earth might be just 1 year next to a black hole. Therefore if you park next to a black hole for 10 years, by the time you go back to earth, 100 years will have gone by.
