Heard this, fell in love with it, memorized it for 2 months straight, borrowed my brothers shoulder boom box. Back then there were cassettes that on the B, side it was only acoustic. Snuck in boom box in my duffel bag in 8th grade 1989 and sang it for a crush during lunch by basketball courts. It was her birthday, I remember. She turned bright tomato red, along with her friends crying the whole time! By the end my friends were the chorus singing along. I was a god that whole week! I could safely say, she will always remember me!😎

We decided to at least try to make it work, and to change our attitudes. Both of us started listening to each other more. And we both tried harder to help each other, and work together. Now, in 2019, working together is easy, since we aren't trying so hard to do the opposite of what the other wants. We still have squabbles. All normal relationships do. But he would tell you the same as me. We are both happier now that we've gotten focused on the real meaning of marriage. And it's going to last. Still loving that man!
