The college kids aren't celebrating those events. They are protesting against the massacre of Palestinian civilians. The inability to separate the two is very dangerous. I follow Palestinian and Israeli pages on Instagram and started to notice a trend in the comments where supporters of the Palestinians 1) deny these r apes, tortures, and m urders took p lace, 2) ju stify them because of the Palestinians being oppressed, when the way they made these women suffer before they k illed them is straight out of hell and worse than anything I can think of in modern times, and 3) don't want to address the issue and instead talk about the crimes of the IDF. The IDF has committed plenty of war crimes, which they even put in their Tiktoks, and the treatment of the Gazans has been despicable. But there are probably thousands of Hamas men who took part in these acts, happily a busing women and p assing them around and then m urdering them. Hamas is the symbol of these protestors. They are dressing up and celebrating H amas. Th ese men, many of whom are probably still alive, don't d eserve to rule over anything. Look in the video of dead Shani Louk's c orpse in the back of the truck in Gaza how the men, even boys are cheering and sp itting on her broken n early n aked co rpse. Protests are fine - but the ma jority of the p rotestors are, again, supporting and ce lebrating Ha mas. They will share in their karma for s upporting r apists and m urderers. They were instructed in their o rders to do this.
