Can’t stop making bangers

I feel these lyrics so hard. I remember my partner and I saying that we were dating, but opiates were our mistresses. The one thing that would be consistent was the drugs. People come and go. The drugs don’t judge, they don’t try to get you to change your ways. It was such an unhealthy mindset to be in where we were consumed by our addictions to the point of both recognizing that in the end, we’d likely choose the drugs over each other if it came to it. We are 3 years off street drugs and 2 years off methadone, very happy and married now. I convinced my husband to come to the clinic with me and he reluctantly joined me. I’m glad he stuck through it with me. We do recover. ❤
