Selena is so mature and composed for her age. She grew up in the spotlight and worked since her childhood. Through all that, she turned out intelligent, humble and poised. It's refreshing to see that, so many other youngsters act out or turn to drugs or let fame go to their head. Bravo, Selena.

It’s so painful to see her struggle with that liner because her hand is shaking even the other one that’s holding the mirror. I have loved her for years now and it’s painful to see her struggle with her illness but at the same time so proud that she embraces her self and love her self even more now. I think it because she was nervous about recording the video? I also have lupus and I don't shake. Also, her lupus affects the kidneys not all of her systems. Lupus is not a one fits all.

You can see that her hand is shaking when she puts on her eyeliner. She also mentioned while she was cooking in her HBO show she asked her Papa (her grandpa) help with squeezing a lemon she said " I have weak hands". So many people throw shade at her even some celebs she is my idol I've watched her ever since I was lil and she is so genuine and honestly she CARES it's shows. She's strong and it shows.

I struggle with acne & very sensitive to most makeup products, it was a challenge matching myself with the right foundation & not until she came out with her brand did I finally find a foundation suitable for my skin and love the lightweight feel and coverage which makes foundation look quite natural & not look so heavy. I am confident I'll love the rest of her products, being that they all seem on the natural side. Definitely, rather let heavy makeup wear go, I'd be excited if she made skincare products.

I lost a friend to lupus this year she waited on a kidney that never came . She fought it for 3 years. People dont realize how much damage the disease does and how lucky Selena got in having a friend like Francia. Most people dont have that outcome and I'm glad she is raising awareness. Her life is the most beautiful thing about her . She's doing the best she can🧡👑 But she be pretty tho😁

I got teary when I saw her hands shaking.... lupus is a very sad and difficult journey for life and as she grows older, it’ll become very hard for her.I hope people are more kind towards her as I feel she is genuinely a good woman with a heart of gold. I find Selena to be one of the most down to earth celebrities. It’s just feels like she’s one of us and she doesn’t see herself as better than anyone. I freaking LOVE that her makeup isn’t ‘perfect’ when blending her eyeshadow or making a perfect symmetrical line with her cat eye. She is applying it the way she likes it and loves it that way. That’s what I think makeup is. Not following any rules or techniques to look ‘perfect’, as long as you feel comfortable and beautiful that’s ok :) I love Sel, the message she ‘s sending is powerful and makes me feel empowered at the end of the day :) lovely makeup btw. Looks natural and glowing!

I love the way Selena talks about makeup, how she is capable of holding multiple truths with it: 1) you shouldn't need it to see yourself as beautiful; 2) it has value: it is fun, it brings together an incredible community, it is a means of creative expression and helps create characters to life and express moods; 3) she acknowledges insecurities around how we present ourselves to the world as a thing, and rather than judge it or try to repress it, she both uplifts the role of makeup in helping us bring out our favorite parts of ourselves to reduce that anxiety (treats a symptom), and she works towards a solution (cure) by voicing her desire that people see their beauty as she does (and I'll add, it is important for those with generous spirits who resonate to how Selena G exemplifies this generosity, that they/we gain the ability to turn that generous gaze inward towards ourselves). I also needed the cat eye technique! Love you, Selena!

For once, I love that Vogue didn’t overly filter this video. So many of them look so overly perfect and flawless, it gives the wrong idea to people. Here you can actually see some of Selena’s “flaws” and that these celebrities are just regular humans like the rest of us. I’m so excited to try this makeup line! I love the message it sells. We are all originally beautiful and should love ourselves.

Just FYI her packaging has the spheres on top of it for people with arthritis (like her) where it’s easier for people with disabilities to open using their palm instead of fingers due to arthritis or hand tremors. This was important to her due to her illness. I just am in awe of her as a person.
