So these are the Sennheiser CX True Wireless earbuds… they're the successors to the Sennheiser CX 400BT’s True wireless earbuds that came out in the Summer of 2020. Now these earbuds aren’t a MAJOR upgrade from their predecessors… but they do have some very important improvements to them… and I’l even say it right now I think these sound better than the Sennheiser Momentum 2’s which have been my number 1 favorite sounding earbuds for a while now… and these just have me even more excited for the Sennheiser Momentum true wireless 3’s.

Just bought these a couple days ago and have enjoyed using them as daily drivers ever since. Not sure if the recent firmware update fixed the call quality but will test it out soon. Thx for the solid comparisons.

Recently bought Momentum TW2. Supreme sound quality , unmatched by any imho. It is truly best for literally every genre of music , I don't know how they did it. Major props to them. CX True Wireless is equally good in terms of sound quality , that's what I have heard and also since components are drivers are same in two , so I would expect similar sound signature. [PS : CX True Wireless not available in my country , and I found some forgotten cash lying around in my cupboard that's why. But the premium is more than worth it at least for me. Also , do not go into other BS features like ANC , hi-res audio , etc since you will never find these features utilised to their optimum potential anyways or atleast for many of us. If focus is entirely ANC , go for sony wf1000mx4. But senn does a pretty decent job at all other things. But nothing matters more to me than sound quality]

IP rating is a big plus as well in my eyes. I had to buy another pair of TWS (Sony SP800N) for gym use, because the 400s sound and fit so damn good I didn't want to risk thrashing them.

I've noticed when I use only one earbud there's lacking sound with the new model 400BT. Thinking there needs to be a mono setting turned on when using just one. Any idea on this? I've noticed listening to certain songs I can't hear certain instruments

Interesting to have this warmer signature. Although my 400bt sounds amazingly open and clear, sometimes I feel lack of punch and go back to my Jabra 75t

Nice info. I'm about to return jabra elite 75t because I found that in left earbud i can listen some white noise. Even when I pause or there is a quiet environment. Planning on get the CX and tune it a bit to bass can be a good option if i like bass?

it's kind of crazy to me how far Sennheiser have come since the original Momentum TW. My TW set died on me just past the warranty. It's quite pleasing though that the new CX look amazing value at their release in comparison to the £280 ~ $300+ of the TW late 2018 release

Believe me or not,ive been saving money to buy cx true wireless and not for momemtum 2's because my case for momemtum's (1st gen) case broke and left earbud not working. On a side note i have sony 1000xm4 also which is quite unnecesary for me to purchase momemtums 2

Weird, VST manufacturers are making de-resonator plugins specially for lower frequencies and consumers are looking for bass to resonate. Great times and tastes for sure!!

I will say that the ANC of the MTW2 does not work for me at all when you take the subway, it even makes outside noise even louder and more annoying.

One thing that concerns me about these is they seem to go super deep into the ear canal, which is something I really don’t like.

The mic on the CX might be quieter as they're IP rated unlike the Momentums or CX 400BT's.

I have both the cx400 and the pros and the CX sound much better. They are the best sounding earbuds I have. I have 20 pairs, a byproduct of covid

Nah bro! You gotta maybe find a better fit. These blow the beats ear buds. I have both and even the soundpeats T2 knock hard! This is a good buy.
