Jackson is Chinese and idk about Chinese guys, but Ik Korean guys are def not about the toxic masculinity that is taught to guys in America. Little Korean boys even give each other kisses and no one cares in korea. That's why Korean boys come to America as students, Americans call them gay and that's also why Kpop male idols are still called gay by some People in America., for a country that always claims it's open minded for any sexuality, any culture, any race., it really doesn't seem hat way....

Also, it hasn't even been that long since America has accepted lgbtq and many Americans are still showing their true feelings of xenophobia and homophobia when they cringe at kpop boy groups and say they are too "feminine" or turn away saying they are "gay" or that the music is "gay". I have met more than a few of these people, not just online where there are many but in real life too.

Ik this is like four years late but A lot of Korean guys are kinda touchy and cuddly with each other when they're close, I noticed this when I went to Korea one summer and after my boy cousins and my brother got close, they were also frequently in close positions like Kang Jun and Jackson.

It's just the same like how close girls can be.. and so is in korea boys can be close to each other like bestfriend and it's not weird at all
