The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

What a phenomenal lady. She grew up on the tennis courts, she set records on that tennis court and will go down in the history of tennis in generations to come. Bravo to her, she and her sister has set the tennis bar so high that someone else has to be better then her will beat this one. GOAT 🐐 legend in the history of women’s tennis.

Her matches against Henin is the closest thing that women's tennis ever had to a Fedal like rivalry. The contrast in styles made for exciting tennis.

I took myself to see Serena and others at US Open-- the next year I took my mother who came from Trinidad to Atlanta then to the US Open just for her to also see the great Serena in action. Oh what an experience those times were!
