LADYBABYは曲自体がすごくいい。これは浅野くんの凄さとプロデューサーの力なんだろう。 だからこそ無印のLADYBABYではなく、接頭辞などを付けた名前にして欲しかった。 少なくとも私は "どうぞ過去のLADYBABYと比較してください" というメッセージと受け取った。

Still retaining the same energy and cuteness of the old times 1:37. Love how this new lineup is able to perform oldies while are for sure going to do new hits, they are way too cute and talented and I love all of them. It's undeniable that Sakura needs to work on her screams, but she's now actually doing some pretty awesome work screaming all along the whole song.

@@manueldemerutis9823 Emily loves Ladybaby. She STILL lists her location on twitter as "Ladybaby" even though it's been almost 4 years since the shutdown and over 2 years since PassCode hired her. Since PassCode lets her continue side jobs, she said she hopes to make a song for LB-4 someday. It's really no surprise Emily is giving LB4 and especially Sakura her full support

I miss Sakura-chan. It seems like leaving LB-4, based on how I translated the announcement (I tried my best), was partly or entirely out of her control. Now it's LB-4.1 with no screamer or deeper singing voice. I will still support the remaining four members always, but there is a hole that needs to be filled, which I hope Heroines/CS is working on. 💔

The chorus sounds good. Some parts needs more work but I'm a musician myself so I know early performances can be a bit rough and you get better after a few more performances I wish you the best

There IS screaming in the new song, it's just buried deeper in the mix than it should be -- her name is Sakura Tsubaki and she was/is being trained by Emily (LB's former screamer)

Awesome job LADYBABY! Big shoes to fill for these ladies, but I have seen video of all three prior lineups that are much rougher than the few minor moments here (and it is live; even the ROLLING STONES suck live)! I support LB4 all the way!

賛否両論ですね。れいりえビアの偉大さ、前のメンバーをやめさせた意味。過去のメンバー1人も残ってないで新規の5人でやる？曲を引き継いだ意味→ほぼカバー。3期メンはいまや個々に活躍してるし、またアイドルやってる。せめてりえ残して活動してほしかったなー。まあ、空になったグループを引き継いだ感じか。オーデイション、5人でよかったのに有馬の代わりがほしいからデスボできる子いれたけどアイドル麺4人にゴス麺1人は違和感。アキシブもLADYBABY もHEROINESに吸収されたわけですか。うまく再生できるといいですね。

I saw fancams of this re-re-debut. The girls are a bit rough but the potential is there especially from Sakura and Ei-chan… This new lineup is worth supporting… Let's go, LB-4! 💚💙💜❤🤍

yeah I agree, I think the previous lineup was better in terms of singing, but this lineup's screamer (Sakura I think) is so cool! I'll be watching them grow

@@minutes.to.midnight I agree about the singing. Interestingly, I found the vocal harmonies to be quite good. Their voices seem to blend well together.

@@latenightramen89 That's always been the thing with Ladybaby no matter the lineup -- fans were always willing to forgive poor singing so long as the energy was there. LB-3 brought insane energy and these girls do a pretty good job of it too

She was trained by Emily so has probably been taught fairly safe technique, I wouldn't be all that concerned.

@@Soufriere84 I don't think the training is over. Sakura and Emily are confident Sakura will get there 100% eventually but she's not quite there yet. I don't think Sakura is expected to do harsh vocals for an entire show yet but my OCR translating website is spotty at best.

@@ckiemnstr345 I certainly hope the training isn't over, and I agree Sakura isn't there yet. Emily herself sounds *_so_* different now compared to 2018, mostly because she had to seriously step it up to fill Yuna's (tiny) shoes. PassCode just finished their tour so hopefully Emily will have time to continue training Sakura -- seems like We-B Studio has no issue letting Emily continue with her side projects.

At first I thought that everything will be much worse, but in the end I am alright with the new lineup. Pls, highlight somehow a girl who does screaming, she definitely deserves it and it's the right thing to do because she has a different role than the rest of the band. :)

I mean, Rie has been there from the very start to the 2020 indefinite hiatus. Of course it'll be hard to adapt for veteran fans. Personally, I'm positive about the new lineup and will continue supporting the group with an optimistic mindset.

@@pheberryfab it's because the naming rights belong to the agencies/companies in Japan, not the idol groups. It's weird and I would have preferred them to form a new band, but it is what it is.

I understand -- Rie was always the core of Ladybaby, the only constant from 2015 to 2020… But she never owned the songs or IP, so for better or worse the people who DO chose to go on without her, and Rie herself seems happy performing with Rei again 🙂

Probably won't happen but I'd love to see Rie give Mia her support. Emily is training Sakura to scream, and Fuka has already declared Sena (or was it Rem?) her favorite new member

It's always difficult to start, especially when there is a responsibility to old fans. The old lineups had their own personality. Right now it feels like LB3 and is clearly missing a big hit. The new track, although not bad, does not live up to the old songs.

The new track was composed by tatsuo who did imho some of LB-2 and LB-3's best tracks -- "Pinky! Pinky!", "Pelo", and "Damedame Tono" are his just like "Gotcha Nippon". Maybe it's not a mega bop like the others but it's still good. As for the girls, we simply don't know enough about them yet -- some have no Idol history at all -- just like it took us time to get to know Nana and Emily (and Fuka if you didn't follow her previous group, which I didn't)

さくらちゃんのデスボ、声張り上げてなんとなく出せてる中学生のカラオケ感… この出し方でもビアちゃんみたいに体格が良くて筋肉量の多い男性だったら形になるけど、女子ならえみりみたいにテクニックで出せないとキツそう。 デスボ出せる子オーディションにいなかったのかな？性別不問で募集してたのに。 まあPasscodeの初期ちゆなよりは出せてるし、これから良くなっていくことに期待します🙏

1) That's how Idol groups always work -- Rie unfortunately never owned the music or the name 2) Ladybeard and Rei quit on their own 3) I've heard, not sure how true it is, they asked Rie to come back but she said no, can't really blame her since she finally made up with Rei AND it was impossible to get her preferred lineup back together due to Emily's new job

Ah, finally screams by Sakura. Emily has taught her well. Ei is pretty solid too. But as a whole it needs work: songs that fit the vocals and dances that are less energy consuming. The song doesn’t show the potential of THIS group (the song was also hard for mark 3). And maybe it was the nerves for this first performance.

live it probably sounds great, recorded footage with the board audio just shows flaws way too much and people are overly critical these days. The people actually there probably viewed the show very differently.

@@latenightramen89 Taking the board audio usually gets you the BEST version, not the worst, because you hear what really happened -- camera mics are low-quality and often introduce "flaws" that didn't exist… I agree with everything else you said though

@@Soufriere84 board audio doesn't take room sound into account so if it's mixed terribly like this it sounds worse and shows all the flaws you'd miss if you were actually their experiencing it instead of studying individual recorded tracks slapped together without proper mixing.

@@latenightramen89 100% fair point. Proper mixing is very important -- I'm not a sound engineer so a mix has to be WAY off for me to notice (and I didn't notice here). Plus this is Ladybaby, not the lowest-budget Idol group out there but not known for throwing money around either, including for a top-tier person at the board. (they've always had great outfits but that's expected since they're owned by A COSTUME COMPANY)

I feel the opposite -- I just watched a performance of this same song from January 2019 and by that point LB-3 had been together for 10 months so the chemistry was better and so was the energy but vocal quality is about the same on balance except of course for Emily vs Sakura, but that's forgivable because Sakura is still learning screamo… Back in 2018 I was ready to write off LB-3 after their rough start but stayed for Rie's sake and I never regretted it

@@Soufriere84 I think it's going to be their biggest downfall though I've seen many other comments saying stuff about vocals and growling. They really should if waiting til she had it better fine tuned before they debuted a song with that element in it. now their road is going to be even harder trying to appease the old and new fans that have heard the songs they put out and thought the quality was subpar. Yes I get it the are STILL new but even agenices and groups put alot of work to make their debuts big hits or memorable.
