You're right but so many are and it's usually down to popularity rather than talent. I hope that black female acts as talented as Sevyn is and with dues pretty much paid up continue to do their best but accept that stratospheric fame may not come and that's okay because there's still more than enough money to be made independently and work to find the right team. It does take some time because it can be a matter of growth and experience to know who's the best fit for you. Also hope that they work to try to be even more supportive of each other. As a black woman we can be the best at what we do and still remain under valued. Acceptance doesn't mean resting on your laurels, it just means that you get a wonderful surprise if things pan out better than you expected.
