About a month or so ago, I needed new metal to listen to. I was bored and typed into youtube "mysterious instrumental djent" and found the band Shokran and their first album. I was absolutely blown away by the sound of that band. Went back to youtube a few weeks later on that same album and saw this album in the video feed. I havent stopped listening to this album since. Holy nuts this is so damn good. Got me now writing music like this on my guitar. Not nearly as good but still an amazing inspiration!!!

I still remember your tutorial video where I learnt the phrygian dominant, byzantine and diminished scale. Now I play drums for a death metal band. I write the songs on guitar as well, and there are people telling me they like my songs in particular. :)
