This appeared in my recommendations and I have no regrets. It looks so cute, and I absolutely love it! The details are outstanding! I also appreciated the lore you added; it makes it a lot more interesting! Just gonna subscribe because I love this now. :) Why do I like Shadow? Here's my input: Shadow is awfully misrepresented as an ''edgehog'' or just plain antisocial, but that's not who he truly is. Shadow the Hedgehog, while not outgoing like Sonic, is still compassionate about the things and people he cares for. He's not one to necessarily shout at others that he's better than them or that his enemies are weak (*coughs in Sonic Forces* RIP for Infinite/Zero the Jackal). He was created as basis for the secret of immortality, as mentioned. Gerald Robotnik created him in hopes to find the answer to Maria's disease, NIDS (Neuro-Immune Deficiency Syndrome). But here's the cool factor: When creating Shadow, Gerald actually programmed Shadow to have a soul/heart like Maria. This is _actually and exactly_ why he was able to change his mind about revenge in SA2 (Sonic Adventure 2). Even though Gerald changed his mindset to carry out revenge for Maria's sake, Shadow was able to remember his true promise to Maria because of the soul and character he has. Hence why he's actually kind-hearted. He just doesn't show it in a way that Sonic does, but has the same basic objective. He even states that they're somewhat similar during the run on Space Colony Ark after Sonic chaos warps out of the tube. Shadow has so much potential still, but most of the writers are getting lazy and portraying him as "Shadow the Edgehog." While I think it's totally okay for him to have a stoic character, that doesn't mean he's edgy/emo or whatever. He just doesn't express his feelings outwardly like Sonic does, and that's okay! (Though if you have to think about it, I feel like Sonic kinda holds back more than people realize... *coughs in Dark Super Sonic.*) _-Then again I used to portray Shadow the Hedgehog that very same way too. I am definitely guilty of illustrating him as a snarky edgy character. I've learned from that.-_ Sorry I ranted! There's my reasoning. Also, I haven't looked through your videos but I think it would be cool to see a Mephiles The Dark cookie cutter video! Mephiles is sorta underrated (just sorta). Totally fine if not! Thanks for your content :D!

When a cookie creator can give a more accurate description of Shadow than the head of Sonic Team and the actual writers.

Even Sega doesn't seem to realize that Shadow's hover shoes aren't what make him as fast as Sonic. He can do that on his own, the hover shoes are just designed so that his shoes don't wear off from such high levels of friction with the ground. Or it's just cuz they look cool.

I think what makes Shadow so charming is that he was introduced as the absolute rival of Sonic. Sonic has multiple rivals, but Shadow has stayed around as his true rival. His struggle with Maria adds a sort of depth that no other Sonic character has (at least in the games), except for Sonic! His dynamic with Rouge and Omega works perfectly as a contrast to the Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails combo. Finally, he’s just so cool! Everything about Shadow makes him the bad boy of the series who doesn’t take orders from anyone. Despite that, he’s got a soft spot for humans and acts as this quiet character who helps people to fulfill his own promise. All around, he’s a fun and cool character!

I love how this started from the Sonic and cookie kingdom collab and now you have made your own sonic cookies. I admire your knowledge of the Sonic cast as most of the time Koreans get confused or misunderstand the characters. (Not accusing Koreans of anything Im Korean too) I wish you can make Silver the hedgehog next and add subtitiles too because he is such a good character but not much people in Korea know him or think of him as just another sonic clone.

I personally like Shadow because despite his evil look and name, he's a good guy and heroic, who cares a lot about his friends and respects Sonic a lot despite originally being a villain. He is also very quiet and collected which I like a lot. Finally he stands out from the rest of the cast because he is also a hedgehog like Sonic, and can go very fast.

I have loved this little series you’ve done, and seeing Shadow join in made me absolutely happy. Keep up the amazing work! Shadow was a fave of mine when I was a kid, his backstory is what drew me in along with growth he makes as a character in the SA2 game. I especially enjoy how he was written for SA2 and the Sonic X series. An overall comfort character for me still to this day.
