Heartbreaking that he chose to use plaster to bust his way near the top. He had a champions grit and THEN SOME. Idk if the guy felt like he had reached his ceiling and it just wasn’t enough but I believe if margarito chose to study the game as hard as that plaster hit, he could’ve been something very special

Antonio was not such a destroyer without the plaster. Good on Shane's trainer for exposing Margarito. People die in this game. Plaster is absolutely unforgivable as is tampering with glove padding. Unforgivable in boxing.

The commentary on this was hilarious. The hardest part of a fight for an older fighter is the first 4 or 5 rounds, after that most can go all night. When Mosley came out so well in the first two rounds i remember thinking it was going to be a very hard night for Margacheato.

Fun fact. Mosley said he wasn't fighting with anger due to Antonio's illegal hand wraps being caught before the fight. Him and his wife were getting a divorce and she was telling him, you're gonna lose to Antonio, this is your last paycheck as you're pushing 38 so he can keep the $2 million he made on this fight. This made him furious. Turns out his ex wife was an a-hole. I also believe she tried to get possession of his belts in court.

This made me a Shane Mosley fan, my uncle and I stayed up late and ordered this ppv that night. I felt like Shane was fighting beyound all means. He earned a fan for life, not because we share the same name but it gave me a sense of pride to know this man gave it his all as well as Margarito. It was one of those fights that you look on with great memeory. My uncle was going for AM this whole fight and once the 5th round started he suddenly changed his tune. For once in my life I felt like I was fighting as much as Shane was.

Bernard's trainer enhanced Shane's left hook, for awhile his father wasn't his trainer. He wasn't as dependent on his right. Most of his victories when he came back to 147, came from the left hook.

It was almost like Shane was possessed by the spirit of Archie Moore. Literally he even LOOKED like, and FOUGHT like him that night. What a performance. Totally cemented Shane's place in boxing history that night. Especially given that Nazeem revealed to the boxing world what a cheating piece of filth Margarito is. Shane delivered God's justice to Antonio that night. Thank you for such a memorable fight Mr. Mosley. And thank you for busting that CHEATER'S ARSE with zero mercy - just like he deserved!!

Thisss fight disproved the Triangle theory again. Thought Margo was gonna run through Mosley, after he gave Cotto his first L, the year before in 2008. But Mosley hitss way Harder than Cotto doesss, and Margarito was just getting hit FLUSHHHH with PowerShots. Shane will KO anybody when he connects enough

Lmao funny thing is almost everyone cotto has faced said he was probably the hardest consistent hitter. Mosely has said this himself. So has zab Judah, Malignaggi, Mayweather. He was a natural lefty who threw his strong hand as a jab. If u watched Cotto V Mosely you can see who hits harder. 🤷🏾♂️

Something nobody else has ever done, but after that happened it kinda got swept under the rug and nobody talked about it after so long. Exactly!!! Canelo tested positive for Clenbuterol a fat burner 😂 He probably used to make weight. Clen is not a steroid and offers no strength or muscle gains

@@codylasik1380 fr and it’s a drug that you need to take in a daily basis in order for it to work, his levels were too low for it to look like he was actually using it like that. But they want to lake him a cheat. There was a rehydration clause for the Mayweather Pac-Man fight and right before Floyd leaves his room you see Ellerbe give him a rehydration pill. Not only that, he hired his own medical team and injected an illegal amount of vitamins in his arm and that’s been a tactic back in the day to cover steroids.
