She Portrayed Miss Price in the 1971 Disney Live Action Movie Bedknobs and Broomsticks. She Portrayed Miss Stitch in the 2005 Movie Nanny McPhee. She had surgery sometime last year to help with the vocal cord issue that she got from Lyme disease. She has sounded mucky better since that time. Her recent performances are just awesome.

yeah, her voice has definitely improved. it sounds so strong. when she returned to music she used to sound like she was always about to cry, and although her voice has changed, it sounds rich and sultry now. very "filled" sound. way to go shania.

She has a surgical operation where they basically stiched in "crutches" to stabilize her vocal chords. Due to the damage of Lymes disease it caused they muscles to not vibrate symmetrically like they normally would so these implants help to balance it. She's mentioned shes worried because there's no telling how long it will last so shes making the best of it while she can. I've seen her in concert twice now from her last tours and im so excited to ve going to her new tour starting next year! Shania is a true icon!

Not sure why you expected her to “overdo the riffs”. She has never been a singer to riff, just look at her recordings and live performances over the past 30 years. She doesn’t do that.

She has done some riffs nd runs in her singing, but never overdone.

In fact, Angela is the reason it's as simple as it is. The more poppy version you hear at the credit in the film is the original version of the song, but she said she couldn't sing like that, so they told her just sing it her way and she did. They used her very first take for the film.

Her voice doesn't allow her to overdo songs

I'm sure If Angela Lansbury was Still Alive, I'm sure that she would've been so proud at Shania Twain, also I'm sure that Angela Lansbury's Spirit was With Both Shania Twain and Alan Menken respectively, giving each of them, Strength, Guidance, and Confidence.

ANYONE can sing this. Honestly any Disney song from people of ANY genres can do it as good.

@@lenstgelais7376, no, this is NOT a Celine Dion song. Céline Dion and Peabo Bryson sang a pop duo version of the song, after the movie was released. This is a tribute to Angela Lansbury and she made the song iconic in the Beauty and the Beast animated film, which the song was written for.
