I honestly believe this clip helped push Zion to get into shape. I'm serious. People kept reposting this on social media and commenting on it. Even recently on Shaq's podcast, his co-host mentioned this moment as one of the funniest on television. I really think it moved Zion to do better because before this, he was still very heavy and sending out windmill dunk clips instead of actually getting his weight down. Obviously, I think the Pelicans' money was a factor as well, but there is nothing more motivating than someone publicly ribbing you if you are a competitive person. You definitely want to prove those people wrong. I don't think that Shaq and Charles meant any harm because they were right especially with Charles' advice. Shaq is a fan of Zion and wants him to do well, but I think this clip was a wake-up call.

In all seriousness the whole crew was spot on with this take. Zion is only 21 and he has dealt with some major injuries in his young career. If he is not able to control his weight soon, his career will be short lived especially with his play-style.
