He is fantastic: great creativity, perfect transitions from tachi to ne waza, super fighting feeling (like Bekauri, in this sense), not the perfect stylist in the japanese way, but a very effective tecnitian. I think the pause he took from competitions in these months benefitted him.

Wandtke - one of the few people to beat prime Ono. Not exactly the most threatening player on the circuit, but he is tactically clever and with a strong endurance. Unfortunately for Wandtke, Shavdatuashvili always gets into his groove leading up to the olympics. I wouldn't be surprised if Shavdatuashvili ends up on the podium once again.
