And this is soo beautiful like it's soo calm and peaceful but heart-wrenchingly painful. Through this, we know that his relationship with Camila was not at all toxic but they had a good non-toxic reason which ended up taking a mature decision. If they are right for each other I wish them to reconsider their relationship again...but whatever is good for them, let them choose.

This song to me means something entirely different. I know it’s intended as a break up song but it takes me back to when my son was on the icu when he first was diagnosed with cancer. He had necrosis in his throat from sepsis and was having life threatening bleeds, needing tonnes of blood transfusions. I sat by his side and said if he wanted to go he can go if he needs to. If it will bring him peace and end suffering. Don’t fight just for my advantage. “If you tell me you’re leaving, I’ll make it easy, it’ll be okay. If we can’t stop the bleeding, we don’t have to fix it, we don’t have to stay. I will love you either way”. This validates my emotions so deeply from that time. My sons ok now and still on chemo and it’s looking very good for him. The trauma is still there and this song brings me such comfort. More than a break up song x
