It's watchable, but barely. Why the writers insist on making 16 year old's look like total clueless morons is a puzzle. At 16 I was emancipated, had challenged the GED assessment scored university level in everything but math, which I only scored a grade 10 level, as I had quit school at 14 , grade 9, to go to work a full time job, and living in my own apartment. Maybe it was just the character level of intelligence, but the kid with the crutch was equally stupid, so what gives with that. The collective IQ between the two of them for 80 percent of the movie was roughly equivalent to Tinker Bell's shoe size. They really did not have to reduce them to gibbering idiots for the comedic value.
