My mom struggles with mental and physical health and spends most days in bed. I showed her the Gordon Ramsay egg fried rice video and she laughed her ass off and later asked me for the channel name so she can "watch it when she's sad." 🥺 She also said Nigel was "really talented." 🥺 This channel brings joy to a lot of people. Not to mention I have learned SO MUCH about Asian cooking while having fun at the same time. Has made me respect their food more!!! Thanks Uncle!!!!!

We only refer to ourselves in 3rd person in more intimate setttings or older people speaking to younger ones (between lovers, children to parents, teacher/parents to younger ones)

As far as HowToBaisc goes, he (or family/spouse, I can't recall offhand) works at a grocery store and the products he uses are expired and no longer good for human consumption. And I believe the eggs are from his own chickens. That is why eggs are in like 90% of the videos.

I hope he didn't give up the air fryer completely, it really is the best way to make certain foods (not everything of course but kudos to your dad for experimenting.) Air fryers seem to excel with anything breaded or that needs to be crispy or browned. Also very good at reheating leftovers and cooking anything from the frozen food section since it doesn’t come out soggy or unevenly cooked like in the microwave. I also make veggies like asparagus and halved red potatoes,they come out like they were broiled Oh no...there I go gushing about how much I love my air fryer agğain. lol

@@claritey Haha yes, it is good for reheating crispy foods, although it does take too long. Usually I just end up pre-heating it in the microwave and finishing it off in the air fryer. I also tried using it as a toaster, but it takes too long and makes the bread into a big crouton (unexpected win I guess)

Airfryer is just another term for Convection Oven. Someone probably mentioned that already. Convection Ovens are often confused w/ Conventional Ovens because they sound alike. The difference between the two is the former will use air to direct the heat throughout the oven, thus giving a more uniformed bake and a shorter bake time. The latter is a normal oven. A lot of modern ovens have the former as an option. Just remember to rotate whatever you are baking halfway through as regular ovens do not evenly distribute heat, there’s always a spot that’s a little hotter or colder. Its cheaper to rotate than to get a tech in to recalibrate your oven(s).

My elder sister worked for Ajinomoto testing Salt I asked her about it She said "they educated us about their products and after knowing what it is, it's really bad for your health You should never have this salt" After some weeks she quit the job Nigel is not just joking this salt can give you serious health issues. At least MSG gives warning to their consumers but Ajinomoto lies even though knowing the truth.
