Sherpa is a regular Renaissance pup. Well traveled, down to earth. That is 1 big castle. The up keep must be never ending. Richard De'Clare (Earl of Pembroke) Married Irish Princess Eve. They had 1 daughter, who inherited her father's holdings that rivaled that of Queen Eleanor of Aquitaine.

Sherpa isn't just a "good boy" as you say Jamie... He is the "bestist boy and travel companion" He was so quiet and well behaved ❤️❤️

That was a fascinating wander! Pembroke Castle seems to be all about stairs! So many stairs and tiny nooks and the layout makes no sense today! Dear darling Sherpa is such a trooper! He gave it his all didn’t he? Such a wonderful good boy. Love him to bits. Thanks again Jamie for taking this elderly lady to a place I would never get to see otherwise! What a lovely video! I felt like I was in the castle. Your filming is so good Jamie. Makes you realise how big the castle is. As I've said before, for those of us who can't get about anymore, we can feel like we are actually there. And having Lord Sherpa as a tour guide is an added bonus.

You've been to Wells on Sea? There's a new ice cream parlor especially for dogs that's opened there! It was on the news today, but none of the visitors with their dogs could get them to eat it on camera, or talk. Immediately Sherpa came to my mind. He would've had no issue with taking to the camera crew!

Sherpa had me laughing and giving encouragements to the screen through the entire video! What a VERY good boy he is! Jamie, thank you for taking us on your tours with Sherpa. These are wonderful adventures. And thank you for thinking about what is best for Sherpa as you wander. That is lovely.

So Cool. that is one huge castle. Built to withstand. Those stairs are so narrow and steep. If you were a servant imagine going up and down and all around that. Geeez !. Can you imagine living in that structure back in the day ?

Fantastic wander, the castle and grounds are mesmerizing. The dynamic duo it did again, stirring up interest in far away places and showing us the most wonderful things. The more I see of Wales the more wonderful it appears. In spite of needed limits making some areas inaccessible for him, Sherpa did remarkably well. He's in great shape, Jamie is certainly taking good care of him. I'm sure one of the main contributing factors is he gets plenty of exercise; unlike most dogs and too many people. Pembroke castle was yet another special video treat and one that I'll have to revisit. (Typo edit)

I love these adventures with Sherpa.☺️💕🐕 And thank you Jamie for showing us so many places we've not been to before. It is so realistic, you'd think you're really there!☺️ It's the movement , the changing views , as you walk along, that make it so much better than just "stills". Sherpa is such a sweet dog, he's always friendly to everyone, and he is so lucky to have someone who cares for him so much🐕. I love the way he interacts with you, Jamie : it's heartwarming to see such companionship☺️. I'm 75, and haven't been anywhere socially for 5 years, and housebound for 6 full months, without going over the threshold ! ( disabling arthritis, a total bore ! ) In another video, you went to Mwnt, in Cardiganshire : I haven't seen that since spending a week in Aberporth , with father and brother, about 65 years ago !!! We went one day to Mwnt, and I remember the beach and the little church⛪. We stayed in a caravan : Pa was working at a Target practicing place, the other side of the bay : they'd shoot missiles from nearby cliffs, at targets out in the sea. Could have been C.A.A., or R.A.F....Pa's expertise was in Air Traffic Control, radar, etc..... Aberporth was some sort of extra work experience, I guess...✈️🚁✈️. The first morning there, we wondered why the caravan was rocking : it was cows reaching underneath to get the grass ! 🐮☺️🐮🌱🌿 Never going out now, your videoed adventures are so valuable to me .☺️🥀📹 Many thanks.☺️🐕. ☺️🐕💕☺️🥀🌈🐕💕🇬🇧

The castle was amazing but the views were even more magnificent. Those stairs though we're killers. I would compare them to the stairs on the temple of the Sun at the Aztec ruins in Mexico City. Only difference is walls. Sherpa really had a good workout with all those stairs. Thanks for sharing this wonderful experience with us.

I've always wanted to visit here with it being the birthplace of Henry 7th. (Although the castle was built alot earlier in 1093). I love anything related to the war of the roses and the Tudor's.
