Have you experienced battery drain after making this process??? I used to have my dfly installed inside my handlebars and battery was great.. then I bought new integrated handlebars and had to install like you are teaching in the video. Added an JC200 to connect the Y cable (which fits inside the handle bars) and installed the dfly in the junction exactly like you are teaching in the video. The next day my battery started draining 10 to 20% a day even when not using the bike... removed the installation and went back to the original set up without the jc200 but now the dfly is outside the bike.. battery still drains even when not in use. Don’t know how to fix it. Any ideas? Thank you for the great content.

Yeah I installed this on my Boardman SLR9.6 DI2 Ultegra. I had a battery go flat and got a replacement through warranty. But I found battery drain was a real issue as I had my EW-WU111 installed in my seat down tube. I have taken it out and mounted it in front of my old style junction box and simply unplug it when off the bike and just reconnect when I want to ride. To be honest it’s not bad looking you really don’t see it under the stem and so far it works I suppose the only issue may be wear and tear unplugging but I don’t see any issues so far. Is the main junction that mounts in the frame the same as the handle bar mounted junction. Just using a bracket to hold it in the frame?

Hi Erwin, I have the same bike... and I'm between EW-WU111 and EW-WU101. Which is better? And the EW-WU111 can connect with garmin 1000 or 820?? Thanks...

Loucas Soulos From what I know the WU111 can connect with both Bluetooth and ANT+ while the WU101 can only connect with ANT+. Not sure whether it can connect with Garmin as I dont use Garmin. But it does connect to my Wahoo Element.

I have same everything, bike, junction A and WU111. I placed it under the handle bar so it doesn’t rattle in the frame. I cannot get it to pair. It’s asking for a password, 000000 doesn’t work. It’s a new piece. Anyone else is having this issue? How did you correct it?

I changed my password but I found I was putting in more digits than the password so double check the inputs.
