It's a little bit of talent and A LOT of *skill* . Jonghyun was such a SKILLED vocalist that he could really make his voice do whatever he wanted. I could probably count on one hand the number of idols that could do that. His vocal prowess is forever unmatched

Because it was live at that moment they performed but if it's edited like this that means most of the time they already put synced vocals over the performance. It's easy when you know what to listen for for example, there is no way for any of the labored breathing not to be transmitted over the mic and also there should be some background echo captured if it's live but evidently none of it was in this recording. So this is not the live recording of the stage.

@@deeharper1364 This is very clearly not overdubbed, 2:09 onwards to 2:25 is clear enough. 6:51 even more obvious, jonghyun is absolutely overpowering the backtrack, plus look at his and Onew's vowel shapes, and compare the sound from minhos part which his mouth is barely open and he sounds quiet compared to how loud onew and jonghyun are since they are projecting so much due to the wide vowel shape. Videos from the crowd show the same audio track. The chorus of ring ding dong is not live and 3:26 to 2:05 are not live, and chorus isnt live due to choreography. All verses are live and adlibs too. No group sings live more than SHINee in k-pop. Syncing vocals isn't widely used in k-pop as it would be in other genres. They opt for backtrack while singing over it, sometimes skipping lines if they are too out of breath, rather than using autotune like is more popular in western pop.

@@deeharper1364 clearly you are not SHINee’s fan. They practice singing while running, jogging, exercising, they sing live in rehearsal. This is very important they didn’t just pretend singing, they really sang live during **rehearsal**, it’s what Jjong’s request for members to do so, its special advice he gave Taemin when Taem was on Japan’s tour and just in cast you dont know, they’re terrible lip syncing. It cracks me up every time when someone pops in SHINee vids saying nahh this cant be real, their voice are too stable. Bitch plz, they’re veteran singers, who are in this industry for 15 years so why not?! .. maybe you also didn’t know this every time when they’re on music shows, some staffs would rush to the front stage just to watch them. Can your group hold that much power? 😂 Maybe you’re way too used to this new gens, acting all cute poses, focusing on how to look good on stage but cant sing live during performance. Even when SHINee recorded studio choom, Jinki sang his part live coz he’s not used to lip syncing. Taemin was sick during SuperM tour but still, he sang it live coz his hyungs taught him well. SHINee is a group consists with 5 members who sing live stably while dancing hard my dear. They’re idols of idols just in case you don’t know yet.
