Sega is missing out by not bringing chao gardens back. They were peak and I will not hear otherwise.

The Chao Garden is my favorite paart of the entire series, the way it incentives replaying the main stages and improving and the actual Chao raising itself make for such a great experience. I'm shocked they haven't brought it back yet.

Honestly, I've never really spent much time in the Chao Garden, so I'm not too hurt over it not returning, but it still is a nice thing they could include if they want to in a future game. I wouldn't mind seeing it in a new form, and I know Adventure fans would eat it right up!

Only caveat. Please don't make the chao garden mandatory for 100% completion. I didn't like having to grind to be able to play the secret green hill level. I want to relax and make my chaos in my own time.

Hell yeah it should come back! A lot of people see the Chao gardens as a silly optional side game cause they probably didn't take the time to really appreciate the complexity of it. Many players just went through the racing stages and visited the Chao garden a couple of times just to abuse the chaos for fun. At first I also thought it was just some silly side game that wasn't that interesting. But when I really started exploring the world, I got hooked and started playing the main stages for the Chaos! Chao gardens are like the perfect resting place in a Sonic game and make the replay ability so much greater. They have so much potential now after two decades, and potential is unfortunately something Sega tends to waste much of...

I think the Chao Garden really should be brought back, and that the best way to handle that would be for Sega to make it be an optional part of whatever future mainline Sonic game it returns in so that the die-hard fans of it who have been begging for it to return can finally become satisfied, and so that the players who aren't so interested in it and think that it's boring don't have to play that virtual pet mini game to get 100% completion of the full game.

It definitely should return. Players need something to do while taking a break from the action of the main story. Plus it kinda benefited since you get those drives and animals that carry over into the garden so it makes for good grinding. I never knew there was more to raising different chao when i played as a kid such as breeding different ones and such. If they did it again in this age they could add even more than what SA2 gave us.

Short answer, Hell yeah. Chao Garden should definitely make a return, gave us more to do in the games. It's a shame that multiple gameplay styles and the Garden were trashed. A lot of the games have had far less replayability since then.

The Chao Garden to me was kinda forgettable for me. When I first saw the Chao Garden in SA2 was like this is just amazing but after that I was like im bored of this so that’s why it’s kinda forgotten for me. That’s just my opinion. If you’re someone that loves the Chao Garden then you want it to return but if you’re mixed on the Chao garden then you’re excited but not really. This is just my opinion on the Chao Garden.

With Sonic Frontiers giving us Big's fishing and other tiny bits of side content, I wouldn't be suprised if Sonic Team decided to bring back old optional modes like the Chao Garden into future Sonic games. Provided Sega can let them cook. I mean, did you know Frontiers was supposed to release a year earlier to coincide with the 30 year anniversary? They literally only delayed it because , and don't quote me on this, Kishimoto himself put his foot down and said that they needed more time to polish the game.

I literally have a file on sonic adventure 2 that has 999+ hours on it. literally only 30 hours of that time was dedicated too A ranking all the levels. the other 970+ hours on it is ALL THE CHAO GARDEN. SEGA YOU NEED TO BRING IT BACK DUDE IT BRINGS SO MUCH LIFE TOO THE GAME!!!

Personally, I can take or leave the Chao Garden. It’s not really my kind of thing. But I can understand why so many people would want it to return.
