@@g-1393 I still remember those fans that forget about all the bad games he has and immediately think he's world class when he has a few good games. He's finding some form now which we can give him credit for, but previous to this and a few games ago he was looking less confident and passing back a little too much again. Praise where praise is due, lets hope he keeps up the form.

He is the oldest player of the squad n almost fit everytime .. the most successful cap for lfc in the pl era .. n I can't remember him having a bad run in the last 3 years.. N he is definitely underrated.. n a bunch of clowns started supporting lfc after 2019 when we won the ucl .. they will leave as soon as we stop wining.... those people mostly want him out!

I've always liked Hendo for the way he plays,leadership and everything. But last season I saw many fans(mostly plastic) saying he's finished,sell him,dont give him a contract etc. And now everyone loves him. I knew Hendo and also Thiago will silence their haters this season.

They all take on Stevie's slip but I agree, for me that was the key factor, Hendo was superb that season.

I always thought it was losing Agger in the bench that whole season

Hendo's determination is unmatched, but i don't believe he's world class. That would suggest the big teams would want to snatch him up, and I really don't think any would.

Southgate doesn't play Henderson as often because he doesn't use 8s. Henderson in this form is played as an 8, but for England he'd have to play as a double 6 in a pivot, which he can do but he's better in the final 3rd. In the double 6 role, I understand using Phillips and Rice, two players more comfortable in that role. It's also why Southgate doesn't play Bellingham

@@yonisgure7348 Yup. Southgate's system is all about safety first. Not a bad thing mind you, when ol Fridge Maguire is starting at CB needs all the protection he can get. The problem with that though, is when they faced a quality mid of Veratti and Jorginho. Italy dominated the ball and England could do nothing with it, just like how Pirlo passed circles around England back in 2012 and 14.

Not just Ox though, everytime Hendo is missing we lose that part of our game. We don't have anyone else who can replace him

That wasn't always the case. If you remember early when Salah first came, and before Ox got injured, both were linked very well together. Ox just needs time to get back in form.

@@Dark69bladeAE i doubt that. The prob with ox is he is playing for his place in the team. So he tries to overdo stuff. No doubt he s good. But he often misses opportunities for one touch pass which Hendo has mastered. Often salah or Mane would be free upfront, and Ox could have just lobbed the ball in front and the two frontsmen could have chased. But Ox prefers to run with the ball and by the time he passes, salah and mane would have been surrounded by defenders. That actually hampers pressing game. U r suppose to run with the ball only if u don't have any one else to pass in front of u. Mane and Salah are specialists in that. Even Jota does the same mistake as ox

@@alvinoszavlis6914 Elliot actually looked really good in his 3 starts in the pl and was linking up well with Salah and Trent. Excited to see him come back and be Hendo's understudy since he offers a lot more than ox.
