what i like the most about this channel is the: "trial and error" part of videos. Guy's got some serious dedication to make stuff work

Kind of strange to feed the paper between two sets of interlocked teeth instead of interleaving the teeth so they are offset and “overlapping”. You could even run the teeth at different speeds that way. Anyway that’s how a real paper shredder works, by creating a kind of scissor between every pair of adjacent blades.

You could ask why, but the real question is why not?
