Keown made some great points. Also Klopp achieved 2 seasons of 90+ points where they didn't win the league. At any place at any time a team with that amount of points would canter to the title. But Man City, Pep and the 115 charges have elevated the bar artificially high (especially if the 115 charges stick) so Klopp is dreadfully unlucky not to have 3 league titles instead of 1. With a bit more luck he might have had 1 more champions league. Not sure Simon appreciates this when he talks about the trophy haul.

Yes I agree. Had Liverpool overachieved and won the league this year the pressure on the new guy would’ve been immense. Maybe it’s good in a weird way that they’ve only won the carabao cup. I also think we’ve seen why it’s probably not a great thing for a manager to announce mid season that he’s leaving at the end of the season. I think maybe it gave the team a bit of a boost, but I think now the emotion (and injuries) are catching up with them now. I mean it’s probably good in that it has given the team time to find a new replacement, but I don’t think it’s helped the team on the pitch.

Holland calling. Arne Slot is a very very good coach. Feyenoord was for tens of years suffering on the pitch and financially. He, together with manager Dennis te Kloese turned it around in two years.
