Today I will tell you how to bake rye bread with malt. The recipe is quite old, but nothing complicated, I promise you. All you have to do is find malt, but now it is sold in many supermarkets and on the Internet. We mix rye flour with wheat, add malt, which will give an even richer rye flavor. I'm just sure that at least once you have made Ukrainian bread with malt, you will not want to buy it in the store, it is so delicious and fragrant. Numo cook!

Preparation time: 1 hour 40 minutes
Cooking time: 45 minutes
Bread recipe
500 ml of water
400 g of wheat flour
200 g of rye flour
1 st. l. sugar
1.5 tbsp. l. oils (+ for lubricating hands)
1 tsp. salt
10 g of dry yeast
20 g of malt
How to make homemade bread
Prepare all the ingredients for making Ukrainian bread with malt.
In a bowl, mix 150 ml of warm water with 10 g of dry yeast. Add 1 tbsp. l. sugar and stir a little.
In another bowl, mix 200 g of rye flour and 400 g of wheat. Add 20 g of malt, it will give the bread a richer rye flavor, add 1 tsp. salt and 1.5 tbsp. l. oil.
Add the yeast mixture to the bowl with the flour, pour in the remaining 350 ml of water. Thoroughly knead the dough, it should be viscous.
Cover the bowl with a towel or wrap it in cling film and leave in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Sprinkle a little flour on the surface on which you will knead, remove the dough from the bowl and knead again for 10 minutes.
Grease your hands with oil and hug the bread a little. Form bread of any shape. I made a rectangle, but you can make another one. Spread the formed bread on parchment, cover and leave for another 40 minutes in a warm place.
Then sprinkle a little bread with flour and bake in the oven. My oven has a special mode for bread, but if you do not have one, then bake bread for 5 minutes at 220 degrees, and then another 40 at 190. The oven must be preheated.
It's easy to cook!
