This is incredible and so thought provoking! This short movie is not just a usual sci-fi but involves many metaphysical concepts. Loved the VFX and the cinematography as well. ya but its kinda stupid those aliens need to make a simulation of an entire universe to then pick a single human brain to then use its "energy" to bring their dead friend back or maybe I got it wrong but, I think the milestone for simulating a whole working universe comes way after discovering sustainable immortal life immortality shouldn't be a problem for beings who can create a universe

I don't get it... Who has created the Sim? The Body Snatchers (those at the end)? If yes: Why would they want to steal a body from their own Sim? & what's with all those puzzles & stuff? Why don't they just create whatever they want? If not: Why would an Alien want to steal a Human body? Bonus questions: - What does the meteorite have to do with anything? - How is he going after "them", if he's in a Sim? - Who is "them" that he's going after? The Tech Company? The Aliens? The Sim creators? ...I don't get it.

I was super lost too. The aliens have the ability to create a universe but they need the lifeblood of a simulated person to continue living? The meteor killed me. 10 ton meteor landed in a lake with a splash when it should have taken out everything within at least a mile radius since it should have been traveling at insane speeds. These guys have obviously never heard of kinetic weapons. The body snatcher fellas are simulated individuals themselves that steal people from the pasts' lifeblood and give it a higher being that isn't simulated yet the body snatcher folks "believe" there is a bigger universe bla bla bla. Takes place in Germany, nobody speaks German or even hints at a German accent. Made ZERO sense. So many contradictions and plot holes. Still a very well shot film. Great acting, great visuals, great lighting, great effects. All good stuff. The screenwriting is lacking though. The story has potential but very badly needs to be peer reviewed to get those beyond obvious plot holes out.

Very interesting concept.Thought provoking with how it all starts with the Chelyabinsk asteroid bringing the technology to Earth. With the way Oumuamua acted after it entered our solar system it could be a possibility that alien civilisations are trying to contact us from distant systems trying to get our attention now. You deserve all the awards you receive for this short and hopefully you can find more capital for VFX to continue the story. I have followed your facebook page for sometime waiting to see this short, impressive, it was worth the wait. Good luck on future shorts pertaining to this concept and others.

This is pure fantasy. The Aliens dont understand what happens to an asteroid when it hits atmosphere it gets so hot it's like molten glass. And when it hits a body of water it's like a paintball.

Such a masterpiece. I however would feed a subject lies until the process is complete. This doctor is too honest while the subject is clearly not willing.

A distant alien civiilzation would have predicted something as simple as someone's emotional outburst and would also have more than enough measures ready if that happened.

oh yeah, and its like this is the first time that a time transfer process has happened, and, WHY WOULD THE SCIENTIST AS SOON AS THE GUY WAKES UP TELL HIM ...OH YEAh basically in just a few we are going to wipe you, kill you, your soul is going to vanish....who wouldn't fight back....the premise, plot is SO weak here, why not tell him that if he stays still, nothing will happen …...yeah, need rewrite on pilot....this one is doomed to fail

Amazing, well done! Brilliant place to leave the audience who is waiting for more. Lots of foreshadowing, evocative and engaging. The beginning reminded me of the Tholian Web. Definitely not human and contrived to make humans think it is real. Which is the reality and who is Creator? Is it you, another being, or maybe there is a keeper. Since early Martians destroyed their atmosphere in laser wars, the life habitat domes is accurate. So many variable and level upon which to ponder. The protagonist taking control proves he is not being kept imprisoned but made to think he is. Thanks for a great short.

The exposition is waaay too on the nose. You're also relying on too much voice over narration. You guys need a screenwriter to avoid those pitfalls.

If you are volunteering for the position, then by all means, go ahead and show us how it should have been done to make this film better. If you are unable, then by all means, criticize as you wish, but do it in a constructive manner that helps make the products better, don't just suggest how someone else could help because for all you know, they could just end up making it even worse in your opinion.
