This is so true. Years ago when I was doing amateur theatre I several times had to remain in character for hours, days on end. The physical and emotional drainage it takes on you to force yourself to be someone else for so long is HARD. Some nights I felt like I had nothing left inside me, that all my energy had been depleted. I take my hat off to those actors, especially those theatre actors that have to remain in character basically for WEEKS, if not MONTHS on end.
