Hello. Today is Yohee's video.
Since many of you loved the recycling video last time, I prepared a few simple but clever ways to use plastic and glass bottles that can be reused.
Self-watering pots using plastic bottles are really great, so I recommend to utilize them if you have any PET bottles.
I referenced the channels of "Hodune" and "장훈농장TV", so I think it would be good for you to refer to it too.
And I think there are so many ways to reuse glass bottles that it hurts to even say twice.
I hope today's video is useful and gives you a comfort.
And I read every single comment.
I would like to reply to you all, but it's been difficult to reply to all since I didn't have enough time. I am very sorry and appreciate your kindness and love for us.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment and I will do my best to answer them. :)
I hope you always take care of your health and have a happy weekend.
See you in the video Joy in two weeks.💗

Love your videos. A tip from a fellow plant grower, add powdered cinnamon around your plants that have ants and other pest issues. This will keep ants off your lettuce and strawberries as well as any other things you may grow. You can also dilute cinnamon in water adding it to a spray bottle. For outside pests just spray on plants and they will keep bugs off the leaves as well. Hope this helps. 💜

Thank you for the videos. I have VERY good luck removing labels from glass bottles by keeping the jar dry, then filling with water, and putting it in the microwave until the water gets REALLY hot but doesn't boil. That extra heat melts a lot of glue that would otherwise be difficult to remove without extra work. Also, the steam created is great for cleaning the microwave. Just be careful removing the jars with the hot water! I usually put the lids back on, with them filled with the hot water, before trying to remove the labels. That extra heat really helps. Of course, some are impossible and need something extra done. But many labels come off cleanly.

It comes off along with the sticky glue. Be careful whilst handling the hot water. Put the bottle in the sink and give it a try.

I have two loquat trees and I never thought to make a jam. I usually just literally grab a hand full every time I pass the tree or smoke a cigarette. Because they get messy so it’s not something you want to pick and eat casually whenever, which is why I only eat it outside so I’m not sticky.

at 10:01: Leaving them open to cool will get yeast and dust and microbes from the air that settle onto the surface of the jam, contaminating it. There are two solutions for this in traditional canning that my mother used to do, some sixty years ago now: One solution is to close the original metal lids (which have a sealing ring inside) when the jam is hot and attempt to reseal the original lids by boiling the sealed bottles in 5 to 10 cm of water for 15 minutes to seal and sterilize them again. The lids are sealed when they pop down and do not make a clicking noise when you press on them, and the heat will sterilize the air in the top of the jar. In fact, most of the air will be expelled, and only steam remains, and when the steam cools, the lids click down. The jar can be stored on the shelf. If storing, you should push on the middle of the lid periodically to see if the lid is still sealed. These metal lids rarely would fail to keep their seal. Another solution my mother often used was to melt candle wax (paraffin or canning wax in the USA) and pour some onto the surface of the very hot jam. About 5 to 7 mm of wax is enough. Let it harden and it provides a good lid. it is lighter than the jam so naturally floats on the surface and cools into a flat disk. (A and if you later eat a small chunk, it is not a problem either. It is wax so is harmless.) If the jars were sterile, the wax provides a seal when the lids would not seal tightly. Again, the jar can be stored on the shelf. You can, of course, first use the first method, and then use this method for jars that do not seal with the metal lid any more. We experienced about 1:20 failure of this kind of wax seal, however.
