@@johalun you’ll see in the next episode I spent like 20 iron and 20 amethyst trying to upgrade that katana and ended up with common. Turns out it’s random and Legendary is really hard to get! and I blew that.

Do you have anything else added to prominence? I've been playing it as well but you have more stuff in your quest book than I do. I don't have any magic category in my quest book at all.

No I haven't added anything, I'm just using Prominence II RPG Fabric. That's odd that your quest book is missing stuff. I'm honestly not sure what could cause that. There is Prominence II Classic on Forge, which I'm not sure if the quest book matches.

Hey. At the time that video was recorded, that was the REI mod. Now the pack has EMI. But it's the same. You can use the R key to get an item's recipe and U to get the recipes an item is used in. You can also just right or left click on items in some places to get the same. Hope that helps!

Hey man i just started this modpack with 2 friends and since were mc noobs your videos are really helpful for knowing all the mechanics. will keep watching. ps: do you know by any chance which mod is responsible for the gravestone on death? i wanna change the timer on it so it doesnt despawn after 30 minutes.

@@1337Ziege great! lmk if you have questions. It's pretty straightforward. Something to consider: You can connect any storage with inventory connectors. For example, you can use create mod vaults which are big and pretty cheap, and look great.

@@jangrogames that was a nice Tip, ive changed the size of the vault to be the size of a chest and we have 2 full vaults now which is 2400 Slots. i hope this is enough Till lategame.

Unfortunately, it was removed from the quest rewards after I recorded this. They continually balance the pack and some things that I record become outdated. I think you just have to find it in loot. There are many great weapons so keep looking!

So i tried to play it and it ran pretty good was a little laggy how would i make it run as good as it is for you because i put it so 8gb of it was being used for the game but i feel it didnt affect it much

Hey. It's the Complimentary Remagined shaders that come built in. I don't know how well it'll run on your 3050 (for reference, mine is a 3080). Give it a try!

If you installed a stand alone server and having problems logging in, delete the mod lightest-lamps from the server install. Edit: I also had to copy over the ftb-* mods from the client to the server. Those where missing when using mrpack-install.

I have seen a lot of people having trouble logging in on the Luna Pixel discord. I wonder if that's their issue. I'm not having any problem with logging in. I did have a few client crashes that seemed to be related to the Vive (VR) mod, but those went away. Thanks for sharing, I'm sure it'll help someone!

You don't need it. I throw mine in a chest forever. When you open your inventory there's a button in the upper left of the screen to open the quest book. You can also assign it to a hotkey.

I play in a hosted server. I believe that this pack has a special setup that provides server functionality like “open to lan” which generally doesn’t work with modded. Look in the menus for a button to share/open a server.

It's hard to help without any details, but generally, I'd guess you don't have enough memory allocated. Hit F3 and look at the memory usage at the top. If it's in the high 90's reaching 100%, you'll get lag. Allocate more memory in your launcher. I have 8GB allocated on my single player game (6 may work, I just went straight to 8 because I have it). Also, less is probably ok if you're running on a server, which will offload some of that.

That quest got changed since I made this video. You no longer get a lick blade sadly. You have to find it in loot now I believe.

my key binds? Honestly, I don't do much to my key binds ever. I basically remove any annoying conflicts, which I don't even remember any more, and map Tab to the Tom's Simple Storage wireless terminal. And usually the back tick key to the Quest book. If you join the discord, I'd be happy to share my `options.txt` file. but it's truly nothing remarkable!

@@Xeroraity oh I just looked and I think they changed the quest. It used to be in the simply swords quests. The way to find it is through loot chests and mob drops, like many of these weapons.

No. it's a 1.20.1 modpack. If you use a launcher like Modrinth or Curseforge, they'll install the correct version.

Hey! Just get download a launcher like Curseforge, Modrinth, or ATlauncher and they'll do it all for you. What you don't want to do is try to install a modpack manually.

It is a heavier pack. how much RAM do you have allocated? that's the first place I'd look. Also hit F3 in game to see if RAM in the upper left is reaching near 100% and constantly doing garbage collection.
