I love the bridge. It really speaks about what courage and becoming a hero is all about. It's not about being fearless, or being powerful. It's about knowing, even being afraid that you might die ("and we're not ready to die") and then deciding to do what needs to be done anyway. Sidekicks are often underestimated in that regard, because despite them not being nearly as powerful as the hero, they're still willing to face enemies that could very well obliterate them.
