Hi there! I haven't recorded a Skillet cover since 2018 so I think it was high time I changed that. "Monster" was a pretty difficult song for me, but I hope you'll enjoy it. I did my best here. Cheers!

I like what you did with this song, some of the covers feel like they lose that fight back and forth that the song has like you are trying to hold back the monster within you and this keeps it while putting your own spin on it. Nice job!

You have a beautiful voice, and you did a really good job with the song, but I do not think the two match. Part of what I really enjoy when listening to skillet, and especially Monster is that sort of raw, guttural, voice of John Cooper. It’s very Raspy and Gritty, and evokes a harsher feel to the song, so when someone with a much smoother, almost opera esk voice does the vocals, it feels… weird. Of course that is just my opinion and you still did a really good job on the song. Very impressive.
