The production on this project is immense in its complexity, those little percussion sounds and counter melodies working simultaneously to create a unique feel to an album, i can’t think of an album that sounds like this or qff but honestly i think i prefer dgtc, the production is outstanding

Skrillex really brings the best out of Cudi in this. It sounds like Cudi really allowed Skrillex to use his instincts on the production to get the best out of Cudi, and it results in this Cudi sound I haven’t heard before - the way his vocal is autotuned I haven’t heard on his other records - it sounds dope to me - comes off as more melodic, and it’s not too distorted it doesn’t sound like Cudi - his sense of melody and phrasing is the freshest I’ve heard from him in awhile. It’s exciting to hear

Encontrei ele em uma festa em São Paulo, na qual ele nem estava escalado no lineup, porém os amigos dele iam tocar e isso já me deu a expectativa de encontrá-lo. Passei a festa inteira no front, imaginando que ele poderia chegar e dominar tudo, da mesma forma que ele fez em outras festas em São Paulo. Insanamente ele chegou por último como surpresa e fez geral pular e viver um momento inesquecível… Eu estava muito perto dele, estendi a mão em sua direção e ele retribuiu com um aperto de mão, me deixando viver o que eu mais queria. Pelo incrível que pareça, no momento em que apertou minha mão, ele estava encerrando seu set com “deixa acontecer naturalmente” música na qual fez total sentido naquele momento. Obrigado Skrillex pela vivência, para fechar com chave de ouro, no final do rolê consegui fazer uma foto com ele.
