Except for main target audience being gen alpha. Tactically a poor approach to channel growth because the older generations are still potential viewers. And they won't watch "Skibidi Rizz BapAnfjctk". A Simple "Gentleman" instead of anything "Rizz" would do it for everyone. Yeah it's fresh to see an episode where it's not just "Meggy" hogs the spotlight. I like these episodes where you have characters rarely seen together interact such as Swag and Melony, SMG3 and Boopkins, as well as Depresso and Bob. I think the creators are giving Meggy a little break since her character arc after WS was done and they probably realize that she doesn't need to appear as much unless there's an actual reason. It's clear SMG4 is making sure to balance out the characters used in each episode

Yeah it really shows how the creators are actually doing their best to make episodes where characters that don't interact with each other have a day in the limelight. I'm glad they aren't just doing what season 12 did and have it just be Mario/Meggy/SMG4/SMG3. I do hope we see an episode with Shroomy or Saiko as the focus

Same. Good to see more variety done this season as well as 2023. I do hope we get an episode with Kaizo in the spotlight. I'm glad the creators aren't doing the whole Meggy hogging the spotlight thing and actually creating diversity in the characters they use. It feels like they do understand that other characters aside from Meggy exist and that she's not the only character keeping the show running. It's cool how the last few months after WS saw underused characters actually getting a day in the limelight as 2022 suffered from relying too much on Meggy. I'm still again on the lookout for any foreshadowing of Puzzlevision's next appearance. You never know if there are any details you might miss when watching the episode. It's terrifying that we don't know what the tv guy has planned for our heroes and how they might learn of his existence. The crew have fought petty gods, an eldritch virus, a psychopathic weeb, a former splatfest champ turned sociopath, a corrupt lawyer, and a former antagonistic Mario recolor, but Puzzlevision is clearly something that no one saw coming. Worse is that the crew aren't even aware of Puzzlevision's existence and we still don't know where Puzzlevision came from or what his motives are...

It's crazy how SMG3 went from a petty rival to a friendly ally of SMG4. It's definitely cool to see Boopkins get a chance to shine. This is also the first episode where Meggy, Mario, and SMG4 altogether don't make an appearance whatsoever. I do like these episodes that focus more on the side characters to help develop them

@@benbarnett5743 Yeah it's great that we are getting more of a variety besides Mario/SMG4/Meggy, I hope Kaizo does get some time in the spotlight although Saiko and Shroomy are due for some screentime too since it's been awhile they've played important roles. I'm keeping my eyes open too for any Puzzlevision teases aswell although I think next week is when the teases start coming since SMG4 Are You OK happened on February 18 and it was the episode that started the It's Gotta Be Perfect chapter of the Puzzlevision story so I'm thinking once we reach February I think Puzzlevision will lay out his next show. Mario/Meggy didn't appear in the You Used To Be Cool video aswell so I'm liking how despite SMG3 is still getting screentime it's also letting characters like Boopkins share the spotlight with him to develop some chemistry with him since his relationships with Mario and SMG4 have been well established.

Shroomy and Saiko definitely need a spotlight, especially the latter concerning his anti Shroomy plotpoint which didn't get a proper end at all. Yeah, the gang might think they're safe, but it's certain that Puzzlevision is watching them. Who knows what the tv guy has planned for the crew, but one thing is clear. This Puzzlevision individual is a clear outside context problem for the crew. They have fought petty gods, psychopathic weebs, a corrupt lawyer, a formerly antagonist rival, and an eldritch world destroying virus but Puzzlevision was something none of them saw coming. Since his first weapon didn't use meme energy, the crew can't really do much against him since they are not only unaware of his existence, but the TV guy technically won as he has already made them his puppets. It's also unnerving how we haven't seen much of him after WOTFI 2023 which still leaves him as a terrifying enigma with no clear goals or backstory. At least the previous villains had some sort of context as to their backstories and origins. Puzzlevision so far doesn't have a clear start of darkness which makes him even more terrifying than if he did. I could see Puzzlevision in his defeat saying something like "I could've made your lives better!" before the gang defeat come to beat him. Meggy would then give Puzzlevision a BIG reason you suck speech by pointing out the various crimes he did such as brainwashing and destroying their home. She would tell Puzzlevision that contrary to his claims, he's not making people's lives better, but instead worsening them. In a last ditch effort to break them, Puzzlevision would try to remind the gang of the many times they were mean to the poor plumber before SMG4 points out that he and the other glitchy crew members understand how rough they've been to Mario and wish to make up for their mistakes. SMG3 would tell Puzzlevision that hehimself is no better of a friend and is deep down nothing more than a sadistic bully who enjoys gaslighting people into committing heinous acts. That's how I see it.

Even though it's unlikely, it would be cool to see Anti Shroomy brought back. I mean, he was hyped up as a new character, but like Kaizo, anti Shroomy has been out of focus since the Revelations Arc. SMg4 is still a good show, but do you ever notice how he brings in plots with so much potential and never really brings them up again? I'm beginning to think Puzzlevision is the in universe reason why some plotpoints are forgotten. Going back to your theory of Puzzlevision's personality tampering abilities, it would explain why the Clown Fever from season 12 was never mentioned again along with the fact that SMG4 and 3 aren't angry at Mario for stealing 3's notebook. So far, I'm trying to think of who Puzzlevision's next pawn could be and I'm thinking it could be SMG3 since he was also the one who directly stopped the demonic goop. However, the pattern of the adware's current victims are that the people he targets happen to be going through a personal crisis. I definitely think 4, Wren, and Marty weren't Puzzlevision's only victims. Your theory of the adware targeting Meggy during her personal crisis after Mario vs UKpostsrs has credibility. It would explain how Meggy somehow recognized the adware's logo despite the fact that SMG4 never told them about the demonic tv. Perhaps Puzzlevision tried targeting Meggy when he noticed that she was going through a personal crisis only for her to decline his shady offerings. However, that's just a theory. Puzzlevision's scare factor is sorta like what made Heath Ledger's Joker terrifying. He so far doesn't have a backstory or rhyme/reason to his actions. He's just... there
