Great video! It helped me a lot in beating this bot that unfortunately was giving me a hard time, even though I'm used to beating some with a higher rate.

I must say this bot is pretty strong for 900. I'm 1750, played against him several days ago. He played with 85 percent, I played with 90, game was 40 moves long. That was a good result for a 900... Even though he lost. P. S. Oh, against you it played not that well it seems.

@@JustShortOfChess no, I'm playing very aggressively, with sacrifices and that kind of stuff. In our game I found a good tactic with a bishop sacrifice which led to my victory.

When you play, is there a sequence to your thought? Like, do you think about units and their options in a certain order? I am always blundering so badly haha

Usually I just go for a move I like and figure out if it’s a good move or not and go from there. Maybe I’ll do like oh if he does this I’ll do that but I really don’t go that far into lines. I definitely blunder a lot still too lol. I tried to live stream the other day and my last game before I ended was me losing my queen lmaoo.

@@JustShortOfChess thanks for your input! i made a fork on two high value pieces recently and the guy responded with a fork of my king , so actually I ended up posing material… I feel I essentially do the same as you describe but I have way too much optimism about my approach.

@@JustShortOfChessYou play very fast. I blundered and blundered until I worked out that I was maintaining the fast playing speed of the opening through the rest of the game and only stopping to think when I ran into trouble.
