as much as i love disney renaissance, Cinderella, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty will ALWAYS be my top 3 favourite Disney Princess films. They pure perfection, the romance, the music, the singing, the painterly artwork, so much beauty it's almost too much to handle sometimes.

I always get upset when I watch Sleeping Beauty because Aurora, who has the most beautiful voice I have ever heard, barely has any lines. I had a huge crush on her as a kid (I’m a queer gal still questioning their gender identity). It’s still one of my favorite classic Disney movies alongside Fantasia and Cinderella.

Ok but hear me out: I know it's literally called "Love's First Kiss" but the song the prince sings at the end (minus the ending choir part about wedding bells lol) could be repurposed into such a pretty lullaby 😭😭 After all, a love song doesn't have to be just romantic. To me that song conveys just pure love and care for another person - romantic, platonic, whatever, you truly would do anything for them. So beautiful. I hope one day I meet the person I'll sing it to. I know romance is kind of the vibe of this playlist but don't let anyone ever tell you it's the only way to truly love. Love is mutual understanding and connection, and whatever form that connection takes is beautiful.

What i love about snow white is that she embodies what love should make someone feel. That pure hypnotic,dreamy,fuzzy feeling that love is. That need to show it off,be proud of it, regardless how far or different the loved is. Even though she ate the apple, she did it out of respect, and aspect.She has always been my favorite princess. A warm soup and a blanket around me while watching these movies during a dark and glooomy day, serving the droplets of rain as music to my ears which perfectly sychronizes this soundtrack.
