So I heard recently that a band I like called "The Animal In Me" released new tracks so I go on youtube and mistakenly find this song. Gotta say I'm not disappointed

When you accidentally come across a song but realise that's all you needed. This is probably one of my favorites now.

Played this to my cat. They are still a cat, they just woke up from their nap and hissed at me.

I absolutely love how the 6 seconds in the lyric "I'm counting six six seconds" is timed from 0:34 - 0:40 to when it starts the new lyric. It's those small details that you notice when you listen to this on repeat

I just realized that" the animal in me " could be a metaphor for any hidden aspect of yourself or talent and how at you are prevented from showing it much to your anger, then in you yearn and become confident enough to want to show it to the world to really stick it to anyone who didn't believe in,insulted or wanted you to hide this part of yourself. All the while from beginning to end you see yourself as what the world doesn't want to see you as. I only came to this conclusion now I hope I'm on the right track at least. :)

Can't really explain why, but this song makes me happy...it's pretty unique in the way the sounds play together. Especially the screaming kind of singing at 2:20! Sounds like you crunch your throat while still hitting the note, so insanely good. I'm having really rough times atm, but finding this beautiful masterpiece made my day a little better. Thank you.
