VIDEO DESCRIPTION:
This F250 V8 truck camper is home to Annie and her pup Bear. After a shift in life direction, she decided to ditch the apartment life and hit the road after converting this stock build with DIY handiwork. Her tiny home on wheels has electric Happy Jacks to stabilize the rig when parked or when separating from the truck. The awning is perfect for shade, and the rooftop deck serves as a photography platform or place to catch the next sunset.
The interior has all of the basic needs with a bed, dining table, and enough storage to house clothes, shoes, and cooking items. Although the kitchen has a microwave, sink, and RV fridge, the essential item Annie carries is her coffee maker. The blackout curtains maintain privacy and temperature control, while the skylight allows for natural lighting and a feel of openness.

I'm not sure which is cuter: Bear the pup or the rig! With studios in San Diego currently renting for $1800+, the rig would pay for itself rather quickly. Wish she'd shared more about where she parks, how often she travels in it, & her avg monthly parking/lot rent budget, but it's so encouraging & inspiring seeing someone who is proving we can live happier with less.

Bear is such a cute and well-behaved dog. I'd like to live in a little house, and have a home on wheels that I can travel around in, a few times throughout the year. I've driven across country several times, and sleeping in my car or a moving truck is not the way to go. Being able to stretch my legs and lay down for a night, without paying for a motel room, is what's up.

I want to do this because I'm sensitive to chemicals and would need someone to build it out for me as I'm disabled and require non-toxic materials. But the reason I want to do this is that staying anywhere is always a hassle because of my sensitivities. I want to option to just go even if I had to stay at campgrounds.

Really liked your rig. Seems to have everything one needs. So nice you can work remotely. Only thing as a single female is wanting access to truck cab from the camper part. As a safety feature it would be ideal. Know you are careful. Wonder how much it cost to buy and remodel budget Good luck and safe travels.

My wife beloved passed away on 18th May 2021 after suffering on the lung machine in ICU...I'm trying by God's Grace to cope with living and living alone although we have our house ..missing her presence Is so very painful...I watch such videos and look St the way you all move on ...I'm encouraged ...though we'll qualified, I lost my job 5 yrs ago & My loving wife supported me ..she knew the issues at India with crossing 55 yrs and how the companies don't come forward to recruit,, especially this covid time . We have nearly the exact same set up; 2002 white Ford F-350, 1 ton, dually, same engine, with a 2003 1080 ArticFox. Our inside is a little different, our stove is where your fridge is, and our bathroom is a dry shower (I like that you have a “seat” in yours lol). We chose the bistro table set up as opposed to the cafe table, and actually ended up removing the table so we have a lot of floor space and we just use a lap tray for our food/beverages. It is a sweet, comfy rig! We did the 5th wheel thing, then a HUGE RV (hated it lol) and settled on this and would never go back! But I am loving the renovations you did, looks so much fresher. I’m going to have to steal some of your ideas 😍 Be safe out there ❣️

I'm so glad that I'm not unique in having a "next pair" of shoes that are the exact same as the ones I'm wearing. LOL! This is the evolving future of being in the workforce. Covid has exposed that most jobs do not require commuting to an office in order to be completed. Employers are saving tons of money on overhead and people like this young woman are hitting the road and living the dream while still having a steady income. Plus, she is saving tons by not having to spend a huge fraction of her salary on housing and the expenses that go with it. It's impressive. I'm looking forward to living the nomadic life in my retirement. I work in library admin, therefore, my job isn't one that can be done efficiently remotely. Sigh.

That’s what I said to my company when I quit 2013 because they wouldn’t embrace remote. Like there’s zero point in me wasting time gas energy to get ready to work and deal with Toxic boss and coworkers. My clients loved me and I could do everything remotely for them.

If you are going to use your oven as a storage bin, maybe you should buy some shallow bins that you can put your stuff in, and pull out all at once like a drawer and set the whole thing on the counter. I do this in my small space. Just a thought that is hopefully helpful. Very nice place.

That's a huge truck camper! You did a great job renovating it, and I love the colors you chose! For me, tho', I would like to see tightly fitted covers on the cushions in the dining area. Amazon sells cushion covers to fit those seats and backs, as I saw another Nomad who bought them. They fit well and can be taken off and washed as needed. Be careful out there by yourself! I'm glad you have a dog with you!

So cool for being on the back of a truck its pretty big. We also live full time in a 26 ft navion what an adventure goin on 8 months first timers ..its a good time living in a dif place all the time we love it. So. Cool keep it up. Safe travels were in ct and headin to warmth in the next few weeks. As our 3way fridge wouldnt work on battery which isnt the worst thing but we paid 93 grand we want everything to work how it should we also got 3 yr full top to bottom. Warantee which is comforting just in case even tho our rig is diesel and only had 15 k miles so its new and its high quality but love ur rig. Good travels. Safe journeys
