I want to do what you did. This is inspiring!. The two tiny home communities in my area that I toured have RVs and mobile homes in the community, which didn't feel secure for me as a single woman. How are you liking the community where you are located? Is it just tiny homes only?

Denetra: If you do get married, get him to buy his own tiny home, trick it out like a man cave and park it next to yours! I saw a couple who did this and it worked for them. PS. Your freezer is fine!

This was the the most honest tiny home video I have seen. She really highlighted all the benefits, but didn't hold back about what she didn't like or what didn't work for her. Many times these tiny home videos are overly idealistic. No living situation is perfect. ❤

Denetra has a beautiful tiny home. She decorated it so pretty. At $99k I would've loved to see her have a larger fridge, and a washer and dryer that worked for her. I love she has nature outside of her door steps.

I love, love, love your house and what a beautiful setting! I would like to do the same but I have received custody of 2 grandchildren so I have to rethink my plans. We currently live in a 3300 square foot home. It is becoming a burden. Since my husband passed away, this house is a lot of work for just me. Maybe a very small 3 bedroom cottage would be more practical and a lot less work! God bless!

That mini doxie is just the right size for her home. She made the right choice for the areas that are important to her. You have done something beautiful with your tiny home. You have encouraged me to take that leap as well. I have 2 cats who would love to have extra climbing room. They are my rescues that have in turn rescued my heart and sanity after losing our “Papa Bear”. I had a cute apt, that ended up being too big for me now. I am living with my son and 2 Grands, but my hear misses having my own space. I may be 65 now but I am still able to do my own independent thing. I paint Memory Ornaments for folks who have lost people or pets. As well as canvases. Thank You for showing how much it means to hold to your faith, and also hold on to your confidence. 😅Her personality is A++👌👌. What she said about renting is exactly how I feel. I'm 38 now and I've moved every other year since I was 18 and not by choice. When I see all the cost I spent on moving/ down payments ect... I am just shooked. I know myself and my income if I value my health, will eventually start to go down. The housing in the US has become impossible for those who are working singles there are no help, so having something that you can own and feel safe in has never been so important than it is right now❤

Wherever you are at, please check with your county zonng deparrment. A lot of "stinker" government officials are not allowing homes under 850 sq ft to be built - unless you have a parcel that is zoned for two or more structures, or you have an existing home on it, then you can add a tiny home. Tiny homes cost almost as what an existing home used to cost 2 - 3 years ago. Maybe consider converting a cute shed into a home might be cheaper in the long run.

Instead of paying $99,000 in home, why not buy a new single wide for half of that? Plus, the single wide would be bigger. You can make a single wide really cute too.

Denetra answered my question without me asking her. I am a black female and I watch a lot of tiny home videos. The community (Acony Bell) she lives in has caught my attention but I wondered if black people lived there. I was so happy to see her there. I love how honest she was about her dislikes as well as her likes. If I ever become a member of the community, I will look her up.
