Fred was integral in the win. Mctomminay and Fred put the opposition midfield under constant pressure which is mentally and physically draining and forces them into mistakes and helps us win back and retain possession. In football you need hard workers to compliment the technical players.

Fred’s pressing is one of the main reasons we won this game. It left West Ham extremely tired and deflated towards the end of the game, and that when Solksjaer brought on a better passer of the ball to take advantage of the tired opponents thanks to Fred’s hard work.
