So if someone tries to start the car with a flat head screwdriver or duplicate key, it will shut off the car and won’t start to protect u. So the stealer doesn’t drive off with the car. Jackie.. Girl, I so feel for you. I can relate. I learned this very lesson the hard way too. No matter how short amount of time and no matter where you park your car, never leave your purse and/or valuable items in it. The only time that is ever safe to is when your car is safely locked inside of a personal garage. I left my purse locked in my car at a gas pump while I quickly ran inside the gas station to buy a drink and pay for the gas. It took a thief(s) less than 5 mins to disable my alarm, break in and steal my purse, Ipod and a backpack with my laptop and all my college books and school work in it. If my purse hadn't been in the front seat, they wouldn't have even bothered bc they couldn't see my back pack that was kinda under a blanket in the backseat or my Ipod that was plugged in in my center console. It REALLY sucks but just use this as a learning experience and try to be more careful next time.
