Great video and an amazing work! 😀👍 Here you find those kind of 90's boom boxes at any yard sale for little to no money at all. 🤷‍♂️ I've gotten a number of them for free from work colleagues and friends that where trowing them out, and personally I wouldn't even bother accepting one that had problems... But seeing an item like this radio get so much love and and care really puts things in a perspective! 😱 We for sure need to value our items higher and stop being so wasteful.

You did an amazing job on this restoration, both making it look and work like new with almost no waste at all. I have the CFS-209 which I got back in 1992 and thanks to this, I plan on making that thing rock for another 30 years!

Eu sou apaixonado por esses rádios e não acho pra comprar , olha como esse e lindo demais , adorooooo esse canal só aparece rádios um mais lindo que o outro A única coisa que eu não gosto e que toda vez lava as placas com água, os mecanismo e isso com o tempo enferruja tudo , e só remover as chaves e limpa a ferrugem e evitar de lavar as placas.

I still feel uneasy when you take the pressurized water hose to clean the PCBs (with components still soldered to it) and electronic components. Even if you leave these things under the sun for a while to dry up, or use a dryer, I can guarantee that something might end up faulty later. Besides that, you did a good job and I really enjoyed it!
